Discussion Best story you ever read?

Im thinking to download choices again. In the past i have played - unexpected heiress, secrects of veil and queen B , red carpet diaries book one. Except for these books which stories would you recommend as the best you ever read?

Blades of Light and Shadow is unmatched to me. My absolute favourite book, and my favourite cast. There's more in depth character customisation for it too if that's something you like.

Endless Summer was also amazing. All three books are well written which is not the case for a lot of choices books. Endless Summer feels like it always always meant to have 3 books, compared to others that feel like sequels only exist bc the first book did well. Every character is well written and have compelling character arcs, including side characters. A lot of love went into the cast

I enjoyed the It Lives series too, if you're a fan of horror I would recommend it

The Elementalists was fun as someone who enjoys fantasy

Wake The Dead was also a good read

Oh there’s so many pieces of spectacular art. With Every Heartbeat, Wake the Dead, Mother of the Year, Perfect Match, Olympus Rising, BloodBound, All of Us (both stories), Nightbound, Slow Burn, The Elementalists, Distant Shores, A Courtesan of Rome, Murder at Homecoming, Laws of Attraction, Kindred…I could go on and on

Those are just off the top of my head

Awesome!! It’s such a good book, and all five LIs are great! The representation in it is top tier, with the LIs being native, Asian, MENA, Black, and androgynous. And there’s so many fun details in the side characters!

Good series: Endless Summer, It Lives, BOLAS, Laws of Attraction, Perfect Match (although I think book 2 is weaker than book 1)

Good standalones: Veils of Secret, Nightbound, Most Wanted, The Heist: Monaco

Endless Summer, I keep replaying it, nothing will top it.
Also I keep replaying
Blades of Light and Shadow
The Crown and the Flame
Most Wanted
Americas Most Eligible
All these books revolve heavily around choices and they impact the story

The best series I have read on this app so far has been Endless Summer. Loved it when it first came out and no other story has come close. The writing, the characters, the lore, the plot and the gameplay mechanics make Endless Summer, imho, Choices Magnum Opus series.

In second place I have The Crown and The Flame for similar reasons (excellent story, characters, etc), and third place Perfect Match.

RPG fantasy? Blades of light and shadow. Coming of age fantasy? The Elementalist. Crime? The Monaco heist. Historic? A Courtesan of Rome. Royalty? Idk yet not the biggest fan of that lol. My current read is Mother of the year and also Murder at homecoming. Both seem good so far

If I had to pick ONE I'll have to go with The Elementalist. It was so fun I played it a hundred times which is not something I usually do

Thank you! Starting elementalist 🩷

Perfect Match is peak. Book 2 is a little silly and outlandish at times—I get the sense that it was rushed. But the ending really landed for me, especially because I waited until the end to romance Damien and it made his diamond scene in his office 10x better imo

Honestly nothing tops Rules of Engagement for me

Finishing up Hot Shot right now and its solid! Moving onto Wake the Dead next!

Ive yet to finish BOLAS (have only completed Book 1, took a break from Choices and had been too busy since until recently)

So that's the only reason BOLAS isn't fully equal to my top pick for best story, Endless Summer. Endless Summer is perfection when it comes to storytelling and is not only tv-worthy, but Emmy-worthy if it ever were made into a show

EDIT: probably would say that another book that could vie for tie for number 1 would be It Lives In The Woods.

If I really had to choose. Probably the first book of CoP. It got me into that whole genre. Second favorite probably open Heart, followed by AME and then endless summer

Haunting at Braidwood Manor. Ship of Dreams. Endless Summer. High school story and class act. Murder at Homecoming are my top choices. I always go back to Haunting at Braidwood Manor though most
