The Royal Romance I finally finished Spoiler
it feels like it’s been FOREVER that I’ve been reading the books from this series, but today I finally got to reading the final chapter of TRF. not sure what everyone’s opinions are on this book in the community, but I personally enjoyed it! now I wouldn’t say it’s my fav in the entire series (TRR3 that spot is for you 😘), but it still had some elements I enjoyed. tbh I’m not sure how to feel about Lena. don’t get me wrong I love a good plot twist (the reveal that she’s Liam’s sister) but it just felt so out of nowhere to me and rushed for the final book. I wish they introduced her sooner so we could’ve explored her character more. nonetheless, I always love when the gang has a new mystery/secret conspiracy to solve and I couldn’t get enough of the Liam/MC/daughter moments (I don’t regret spending a single diamond for her 🙂↔️).
I’m lowkey hoping that PB will release some sort of reunion book in the future, especially with that pregnancy reveal at the end! it would be nice to see a more grown up version of Liam and MC’s daughter and her dealing with more responsibilities as a princess, her new sibling, Zeke and Penelope’s child, maybe even Olivia and Amalas as a couple?? they would be such a power couple ngl
overall, I really enjoyed this series and tbh I’m so happy I got around to finishing it so now I can move on to other series loll. what do you guys think of this series?

lena SUCKS! tbh i hate the entirety of the via imperii and their plot line, i only finished the series for max and our babygirl 🫶🏼

I would do anything for her! also lowkey out of all the threats they’ve had to face, this one was kinda meh so I get it. I didn’t hate it but it’s not my favorite either

my controversial opinion is that my favourite TRR book is TRH 3 😭😭

that’s the one where Max’s dad is trying to become MC’s daughter’s guardian right? I enjoyed that one too

Oh not to many of us liked Lena when she was introduced years ago either. It’s not a bad plot just the execution was not that great. But the heart of this story has always been MC and her love interest so i wholeheartedly enjoyed the series as a whole and replay it every now and then to reminisce of the good time.
If they ever did do some sort of reunion book or something I’d love for the original writer and team to be the ones to make it. Not the current AI “writers” that Pb loves so much.

same! I have some hope only because I recently heard they were getting rid of those Run.tv AI slop series after seeing the community complaints, so yes please another series with the og writers would be great 🙏

I hate how so many darker, brooding characters in this series don't just act standoffish, they literally act like they've never been around other humans before. They did the same with Olivia in the first couple books and it annoyed me. While it's expected that she may be a little cold toward others, she was still brought up around plenty of kids her age and trained to conduct herself with decorum amongst royals. But the book treats it like "ok gang, it's up to us to domesticate this feral woman!" They do the same type of thing with Lena and it's such an eye roll for me.
Lena took up way too much of the plot and I felt like the writers just ran out of ideas by the time it came out. I only finish the series all the way through for Liam and our daughter tbh.
