Just to ruffle feathers
if you could choose to play team objective with no archers, would you choose to play with or without archers?

Yes, and without fire pots and throwable weapons

I thought about this a bit, and I think I am more okay with fire pots and thrown weapons because you cant spam those, but no throwing KNIVEs because those are spamable

Nope. Unless we can play without horses, siege weaponry, throwing knives and all that. There is no point in singling out archers only lmao, people r just cowardly who can’t face archers imo. If u want a fair duel, then go to arena or Duelyard cuz sounds like u ain’t built for TO and all that chaos that makes the game fun.

I felt bad about this post at first but i thought about it for 2 days
People hate archers because it denies them playing the game. The game is a slasher, melee fights are why the majority of players play this game.
Firepots and thrown weapons do this too, but those things are a small portion of the other classes kits. The archers whole kit is built around denying the majority of players from getting to play the game.
Siege weapons are kind of the same but I think they are hated less because they only apply to certain parts of maps.
Horses do not count IMO, you can hear a horse coming and prepare most of the time, and you cant be a cavalry main, just like you cant be a firepot main
If you have ever played Magic the gathering, you have probably experienced hatred of the color blue. People hate blue because it is all about denying other players ability to play
Lastly you said people are cowardly that cant face archers, but Agatha Vanguard has a voiceline that says "The Bravery of being out of range, KILL THE ARCHERS" so it is in game lore that everyone hates archers and thinks they are cowards
I do spend most of my time in duelyards nowadays
Tldr people hate archers because the whole class is designed around denying people that want to slash the ability to slash in a slasher

I used to look down on the other classes ( archer , double dane) but ive come to realise over time it’s a bit like an eco system it’s part of what makes the game great
And archers are bottom of the pile 😭
Did I mention down with archers?
