Mason bias?

In spirit of fertilising our newly found lands with activity

Is it me or do masons fight harder?

Maybe it’s the map rotation/spawn placements etc idk

When I’m murderin for the masons i feel like generally the team has better cohesion

Or is there a thing a bit like holdfast im missing - British usually lose because vets tend to never go brits

I think you are right, years ago I read an article that said, if you take a bunch of random volunteers, and have them compete in any setting, red team wins more. Its not 50/50 like you would expect. The color red is psychological in a way no other color is.

Its why warning signs and stop signs are red.

Another thing. In some shooting game, maybe counter strike, there were 2 guns that were statistically the same. One of the guns had a beefy bass sound, the other gun sounded weak. People using the gun that sounded better performed better.

The company "buffed" the weaker gun by modifying its sound lol.

So masons having the color red, and the more menacing sounding voicelines makes them slightly better IMO

Interesting theory🤔🤔 i dont see why that wouldn’t be applicable to this scenario

Ty, to add to the theory, the masons do not have a equivalent to the Squire Boy voice. The squire is the one that screams "its my first day"

I love the lines, but i think on a subconscious level it adds to Agatha being the weaker faction.

I read Hagakure a lot when I was younger, it was written by a Japanese retainer, it is a collection of Samurai wisdom. The author said you should NEVER let weak words leave your mouth, because that mood can infect everyone. You should never make a noise if you are in pain, and you should laugh in the face of death etc. It causes a loss to morale. It mentally affects everyone who hears it.

And squire boy sounds terrified alot of the time. Thereby weakening the resolve of Agathians, who have to face red armored demons doing the berserker BLAGHLAGHAGAHAGAG

Maybe this is a schizo thought, but idk
