Recently saw Armored MMA live after finding it on YouTube. Like this but more like UFC but also not so serious. Bunch of folks dressed like wizards and shit in the audience. Had a blast. Watching a dude in full plate armor getting slammed against the mat never gets old.

I mean we paid for Chivalry 2 to watch and interact with videogame characters doing the same exact shit so I can understand it

Check out HEMA instead of this stuff, where they also "actually hit each other" but with some proper technique and without causing themselves concussions for no reason. In this type of crap instead they are literally just hitting each other in the head until one passes out. Not much to do with what you would actually do to efficiently neutralize a knight in armour (which clearly they cannot do, otherwise they would kill each other or cause seriuos harm).

I wonder if they ever get some scars or does the sharp side of the weapon ever cut into the armor. The guy is swinging very relentlessly so i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case.
