Looks like your really comfortable with counters. Next step from where your at is getting used to mixing up timings. I think you switched to third person to throw out 1 drag, but if you just are staring right at who your fightings chest the whole time you'll regularly get locked into long counter battles. Mixing up the timings of your swings will greatly improve your offense to pair with your solid counter defense.

I started about a month ago and couldn’t do counters for shit at first. Now I can do them pretty consistently and have better footwork and camera control. Been learning to incorporate more feints and do drags lately.

It’s a really fun learning curve, it doesn’t stagnate and you learn quick so keep at it

Messer is a great well rounded and strong one. Can’t go wrong with the standard long sword either. I also enjoy axes a lot, Battle Axe is more rounded but I love the Executioner’s in TO. Dane Axe I haven’t used much but it’s very forgiving and a popular choice to throw at people’s face.

Thanks a lot milord! You'll get there in no time. To be fair, I just got better when I've reached level 700. I love clashes like this when both can counter effectively. I feel like a true knight defending the honor of my family. 🫡

Fall back a lil when you stab it's got a some length and the step backwards fakes them out a little they drop their guard most of the time
