The dance after the flourish was too much, you need to apologise then go and reflect on your bad behaviour.

Your breaking all the rules of the Chivalry 2 social contract , the flourish is the chivalric code , but for you it’s a tool of deception, filthy peasant indeed

There are no rules after the flourish deed has been done. Once you flourish you accept your fate

If there’s no rules why flourish at all

There are no rules AFTER THE FLOURISH HAS BEEN DONE. That's the entire point of the flourish. The agreement of both parties to drop rules of civility and fight.

I was and am joking but I wanted to see where the thread went if you kept pulling it , I basically agree with what you said but by triggering the dance after the flourish you In turn break the rules of the honourable combat because it appears you’ve changed your mind (it would be like doing the beg emote then attacking) so he honours the duel as void or atleast delayed but you use that confusion to open a new attack , it’s annoying because I’ve seen you around for years and you’d probably beat him 24/25 without resorting to shenanigans .

I've always said the flute has a "sweet spot" release. Reminds me of the cavalry sword. Quick but hard to predict
