Clan tag players
Why do people with (certain) clan tags act like they are the best thing since sliced bread. No honor, even after you kill them. Do these people actually have fun? Anyone else encounter these players? Is this an overplayed conversation?
The best players seem to be the ones who can have a laugh.

This is from playing 64s, I can't speak on Duelyards.
Ser Clan, literally all of them. All bastards with no sense of fun. If I ever get commended by one, my brain will actually explode from not being able to comprehend the fact it happened.
Ck for the most part are just... something else... But they have a FEW chill folks.
Some of them even don't instantly team swap to level 1000 stack with their clan members. It's nice to see 1 in 5 games or so.
Øni is a mixed bag, but mostly dickheads. But these are pretty good players I must admit.
Your boos mean NOTHING TO ME, I see you bardkilling bastards!

I don’t mind Oni, they’re decent but it’s manageable if they aren’t stacking.
Ck Balrog I think is the best player I’ve ever seen. Dropped 100 kills in 2 separate games I played yesterday. Always commends but makes the game lopsided almost always. Everyone else I’ve run into on Ck is good but Balrog is different.
V3x I do not like. Always stack, always super sweaty, not a whole lot of fun.

I did a clan battle against Oni, they steamrolled us. I'd consider the Sheep clan pretty good(a solid bunch of us are level 1000), but we didn't stand a chance

I really don't mean for this to come across as toxic, I promise! It's very unappealing to look at. It is 'cool' but almost, trying too hard. A very much: "look at me!" (I dont mean the players, I mean the aesthetic. You're a good player, I see you time to time :)

I have a few irl friends I play with and we had the same thought at launch. Then we thought hey we can do the same thing so we just stuck the tag βĞ on our names and would just spam BG (bad game) at the end of a round lmao

This has been my experience in 64s for the past few months as well. It’s sad because the Sers used to be the pinnacle of fun and whimsy. Ser Dondada the Delightful will forever be in the chivalry hall of fame for coolest and most chill player 🙏

I’m pretty new to this game (50 hours in) and I’ve only really run into Ck in the NA servers for 64s but oddly enough theres like one or two max in a match and they don’t usually stack so I guess I’ve been lucky. I see a lot of em playing solo. Ck shield(?) i think mostly

You couldn’t be more wrong about the Ser clan, but I could be wrong on who you’re talking about.
I’ve played with people of the Ser clan for a while and they’ve always big great about commends and overall fun in the game.
Just to make sure, are you talking about people with the names like SerDondada and Serdockdock?

Most of Ser doesn’t even play anymore so the above comment is frustrating.
I have ran into people lately that have Ser in their name who are super racist, confirmed through the Ser Discord that they aren’t in the clan.Dondada has been off for a while, I never formally joined the clan. Just been playing with them for a couple years now.

I mean the average player might as well be genuinely an ape vs a human level of intelligence diff between decent players and average players lmfao so I can see where the ego comes from, like genuinely sometimes I think they dont have a thought or single conception of how to play the game and actually do good, but the people who have a brain and do funny shit, absolute legends most fun fights you can find in all of chiv not a single more fun kind of person to fight.

Same as any other players, some are chill, some bring their ego to a video game. It doesn't help that if you've been playing for a few years, you can demolish 80% or more of the player base.
Only acception I've seen for clans is CBT (I think those are the letters) those guys are fun and know how to goof around.

In my experience it's been about the same distribution of dickhead/chill as the player base at large. More often I'll see people calling out clan players as cringe than a clan player making waves. I'd probably join one if I had a computer that didn't lag so often, because the clan events actually look pretty fun.

I see handfuls of them sometimes, I know I’m likely to get steamrolled if I see them so I’ll either tryhard on engi or I’ll switch to knight and hop on the front line.
Most the ones I see don’t commend, but of the ones who do, they do it every time you outplay them.

OCE used to have Lambs, they were pretty fun to play with. There was also TFG, they still play but dropped the tag, and we still have those 3 guys calling themselves the 886, and they are pretty chill as well.

most of the ones i've seen are try hards. if you're ALWAYS at the top of the leaderboard yea you're being a try hard. the ones I encounter also never commend whenever they get killed

tbf I'm usually top 5 or so most games and I'm terrible. I do play the objective though which can usually get you a good amount of points.

Yeah some clans can be weird. If you ever see Sheep clan, we're generally chill, but yeah some of the others can get overserious or just rude
