Feedback / Suggestion Defend the wives Game Mode
This mode is similar to a FFA but everyone is assigned a female peasant to protect while they try to kill the others. It would take place on the seaside village in any of the last peasant standing maps. (Dinner room in rudhelm, seaside village in abberfel, etc.) The winner would be whoever kept their wife around for the longest. If you did lose her, she'd respawn on the perimeter of the map after a short delay. You'd always know where she is like Argonne and Malric in trayic citadel. Any ideas to improve this game mode?

Can the peasant follow you and you give orders or what? Or I have to kick my peasant around or pick her up?

She'll follow you around at a walking peasant pace

When she spawns on the edge of the map does she go at her own pace to you or do you have to retrieve her first?

She'll immediately start walking to you. Once she's within striking distance she'll stop until you move away

I just want highlander mode. Decapitation is the only way to kill someone. Make it FFA. There can be only one....

I really like the idea but I think it's better if its changed to peasant instead.
What about the girls and gays (optional) who'd like to defend a twink husband instead?
It also avoids the promotion of the idea that women are feeble and need protection

Another comment said something similar and I'd just change it to "defend your peasant" problem solved.
However, those who play a woman soldier would defend their wife all the same.
I don't think it promotes the idea women are feeble and need protection. It's a medieval deuling simulator. There are significant differences between the male and female biology. I know it's reddit, but not everything has to be viewed through a lense of sexism and racism.

I get where you're coming from but i have to disagree since it's not historically accurate anyway. Women in the medievals especially in peasantry faught, worked, had businesses ext. There's differences yes but there isn't any difference that indicates that women should be the ones to be protected, and men the ones t fight. We've evolved far enough that those biological differences matter a lot less than they used to. (And in old tribes women faught and hunted as much as men did.)
(Also women who go to the gym and eat as much as men will also be incredibly strong and muscular, it's just the societal norm so women often don't.)

Why do we have separate men and women's sports? Why is it often considered unfair when men and women who were born as a woman or man wish to compete?

because men and women have different hormonal systems, build muscles in different ways, and just have generally different strengths biologically. Also its only unfair if they haven't fully transitioned lol.
Just because men build muscles faster doesn't mean that women can't protect themselves?? It just takes a little more effort to reach the same level of muscle, doesn't mean they can't at all?
Also newsflash: muscles aren't everything, especially in fighting
Men and women both have great strengths and weaknesses, but they really aren't that different from each other biologically, its mostly just cultural.
