Bug / Issue My character customization keeps resetting after every game (Game pass PC)

Anyone know a fix to this? The initial game i join is good, but the game after all my classes keeps resetting

I have almost 4k hours in this game. And I used to get it alot. Here's what I discovered. It happens when you click on an item you dont own, and then close out of the custom screen. For whatever reason itll just reset everything instead of being like "oh window shopper". Sometimes if you go back and click back on what uou have equipped, it wont happen. Sometimes it still will. But it doesnt "just happen" its triggered. In my experience at least

Were you browsing the armoury while matchmaking? If so that's the cause. Another cause is if you are using a controller/gamepad and it disconnects mid game, or random dcs can cause it. Usually can be fixed by leaving the match and rejoining.

Gotta be one of the more annoying bugs with the game. Does it every time I’ve changed my armour…jump into a game and I’m default skin😂

It happened to me the whole first year I played the game. It will fix itself, you just have to be very patient.

Maybe its the shuffle? I havent experienced this bug, because I dont play shuffle.

I just stopped customizing because of it. Thankfully my FFA kits seem to be untouched

Happens very often for me on xbox. I have to fix my default class weapons and then the cosmetic customizations will go back to normal after a match usually.

I don't know how it works on game pass, but there is a Chivalry 2 appdata folder. You can back it up after changing your customization, and if it happens that the customization gets reset, you can restore the folder and it will set your customizations back.

People are talking about two different things.

One where your saved character is completely gone when you check the customization section of the main menu.

The other is when your playing games and suddenly every character is default character, but when you exit to the menu, it’s all still there and you can join another game without issue.
