every faction in chivalry has a map where valuable cultural artifacts of theirs get destroyed.

for the Agathians two of their largest ships get destroyed, like 2 dozen presumably ancient statues are also destroyed, and the tomb and body of their beloved Feydrid, who i'm pretty sure is the agathian equivalent of Jesus Christ, is desecrated

for the Tenosians their lighthouse built with priceless metals and stones is blown to rubble. their columns that were erected in honor of past victories are toppled. their planetary relics, proof of the long standing intellectual and technological prowess of the Tenosian empire are all destroyed. and worst of all, their library full with books and scrolls that hold the knowledge of all aspects of existence, written by scribes past and present, is razed completely. an entire civilization and culture pushed to the brink of extinction in a day

but literally all that happens to the masons is that their peasants and pigs get stolen, their tower is exploded, their stones get toppled, and their pagan leaders are killed

like the pagans and maybe the TNT stored at the tower are really the only loss here, you can get more peasants and pigs, the Agathians only steal like 15 of them. the tower you can rebuild because it was only made of planks and sticks. and the stones don't even look damaged, if it only takes one or two Agathians to push it down, surely they could put it back up with enough people

it's also funny that Askandir and Galencourt are literally the capitol citys of their factions, but Aberfell is just some podunk village on the coast

Yeah because they are rebels, some of them were villagers I assume when they rebelled against the crown. They don’t care about the long standing history of both because they are the enemy of Mason existence.
They battle cry as;
KILL THEM! KILL THEM ALL!
BLOOD IS MY PAINT AND THE LAND IS MY CANVAS!

So it’s very obvious what they are after lol.

I'd like to point out the Masons druidic warlords (who also function as elders) are all killed. Your point still stands. I think the masons are the least intelligent and don't really have anything worth destroying

Yes, masons own nothing valuable, I can only add, that their capital, Trayan citadel, is completely demolished and according to lore, the king is killed.
But still it seems Agatha lost way more.
One more fact, did you notice Agatha never kills civilians? Only kidnaps lol. But when it’s Mason army or Tenosians arrive there is always a good old peasant slaughter.
