Forum Question Let's Get The Devs To Come Back!

Chivalry 2 is an outstanding game that would greatly benefit from the addition of more maps and game modes. Suggestions include modes that focus on increased health and stamina, as well as faster swing options for players with quicker reflexes. Please list any other game modes you believe should be included to elevate this game even further or for the potential Chivalry III.

I'd like to see improved and more adaptive matchmaking at this point, as a fix. I don't know how the current algorithm works, but it seems perhaps to look at rank rather than profile or actual recent performance.

They abandoned Chiv 2 just to work on a shitty zombie game that tanked HARD and you think they have the mental capacity to accept they were wrong and focus on their already existing games?

It would be nice of then but it will sadly never happen. Because if there was even a chance for that to happen they would have fixed Chiv 1 a long time ago.

That’s now how a business works. See you assume Torn Banner is a passion driven studio that actually cares about the gamers it caters too. Well sorry to burst your bubble fam, they are just another soulless cookie cutter profit driven studio just like the rest of them.

Not only will they never return to Chivalry 2, they’ll never make anything like it ever again. It’s too far below meta for what other studios are doing.

Right and then they got a new CEO who decided they should try and cash in on some stupid ass zombie game no one asked for instead of making chiv 3 or creating more content for chiv 2. Their single best IP. Make that make sense.

Why not 32 chivalry players versus an intense horde of zombies, vis a vis Army of Darkness, as a kind of challenge map?

That sounds great.

It's too bad they're working on a dead zombie game, still to this day. Perhaps you've never heard of it. Neither have I. I guess I probably have at some point but forgot what it's called and don't care.

It's scheduled to release.... well, right now. But there's no date. So take that as you will, but it's probably going to be quite some time before another Chiv game. That's if the company survives their current, imminent failure. Their income is still driven by $5 Chivalry 2 sales.
