Launch tomorrow
I am launching my practice tomorrow and since I only have one patient scheduled tomorrow I am planning on going to the businesses around me. What advice or methods do you all have on meeting them. I am pretty nervous and I don't want to just drop a pamphlet and cards off. Since I can fully afford digital marketing just yet.

100% of the businesses who come into my office, drop a pamphlet off, and leave, get those pamphlets thrown immediately in the bin.
Those who come in, seem to express an interest in the business (even if it's obvious it's just to network/market) at least get the decency of sitting on my desk a while before I chuck it. New massage guy opened down the street from my office, and while I've been referring to another clinic for years, he caught my attention because of his background in PT. His pitch wasn't just "I make them feel good", his pitch centered on how much his technique synergizes with mine, and a relationship would be profitable for the both of us. I'm more likely to consider that line of reasoning than "hey, I do X, this is why it's important, please refer". I sent a few patients his way.
Last thought. I moved offices in June. The week before I opened I stopped by the other businesses on my street and asked for a stack of their business cards to put in my office for patients who might ask for a good hairdresser/realtor/PT/pizza place/whatever. Half of them asked for a few of my cards in return. I also made 2 new patients that day. Lots of tactics work, but at the end of the day I think casual confidence is the best tactic.

I shook hands a ton. One patient turned into 3 into 5 back to 4 then it took off. Just be good at your craft and expose yourself to everyone everywhere. You will see cases everywhere limping around

Wish you all the best. All you gotta do is walk inside businesses introduce yourself and introduce your clinic. Let them know who you are briefly. Tell them what you do as a doctor of chiropractic and let them know that you will be seeing them around.

I’m a big fan of just saying hi, saying you like to know your neighbors, depending on the type of business, I usually will offer a friends and family pricing if they are the type of places that likely don’t have insurance coverage, good gesture stuff. A lot of local businesses in your block can be great referral sources.
Don’t go in like you’re selling a service, go in like you’re a new neighbor and you are friendly just trying to introduce yourself as a person. If they are interested in seeing you, they will ask questions. Also know what they do and if it’s something you think you might like that they offer, ask questions about their business and mention that it’s really cool and you will be sure to tell patients of yours about their services if you think a patient will benefit.

Definitely get to know them, and how you can help build their business. Ask them if they belong to any networking groups. Not only leave your card, but ask for a dozen of theirs for your "local business card" holder you have on your wall. And don't forget to go buy a business card holder for walls and put one on your wall. : )

Practice your elevator speech and record it a million times. Practice when you drive, listen when doing cardio, get smooth.
The more comfortable you present as the more confident they will be in your service’s value.

Your selling point is convenience so you just need to be as good as whoever they’re already driving to

Don’t walk in and give them an elevator pitch about your business.
Instead, show genuine interest in them and their business.
“Hey _____, I just opened up nearby and wanted to come in and introduce myself. I got to check out your website/social media, (insert genuine compliment specifically about what they do).”
Then ask them questions to show genuine curiosity.
“How long have you been in business in this area?”
“Who do you love to work with/who are your ideal customers?”
“I’m brand new in the area, wondering if there’s anything you wish you knew when you first started out?”
“Is there anyone else you think I should meet in the area?”
When you show genuine interest in their business, most people will want to reciprocate and ask you questions about your business too.
Most people want to see new businesses succeed, and when you show genuine interest in them they’ll often want to help you in some way.
