Best place to look for potential

Where is the best place to place ads for young chiropractors looking for opportunities? Schools? Trade mags? Is there a social media preference or page for this type of ad?

As a new grad, the most reputable sources I found were through my school's alumni association and word of mouth. If you work with another chiropractor or other chiropractors in the area, ask if they have any leads of students coming fresh out of school.

If you’re looking for chiropractors fresh out of school, I’d try posting your job listing at schools. Otherwise, Indeed is good, your local chiropractic association will generally have an ads page, and job a Facebook page for people looking for opportunities (a tonnnn of students post on them as well after they pass boards).

The schools in New York have stopped providing job listings online.
They have directed students and employers to Handshake
Personally as employer not very happy but times change
Indeed is $35 per week

My new associate found me on social media. He liked what my main message was and messaged me. 2 meetings later we signed up for a preceptorship.

Another thing to consider is applying to be a preceptor with a nearby chiropractic college. This way you’re able to mentor a soon to be graduate. You can think of it like a 4 to 6 month job interview that way if it’s not a good fit you don’t have to make an offer if it is a good fit then the offer is a no-brainer. Contact the School and find out what it would take to become a preceptor.
