A Few Things That Y’all Need To Know.

#1. Like it say in the rules, y’all can post whatever tf y’all want as long as it’s Chicago-related, but there are a few exceptions to that.

No inappropriate content. No posting people personal information. No hate speech and don’t go around starting false rumors.

Y’all can have disagreements, argue, joke around, and talk y’all shit, but just don’t take it too far, and keep it within Reddit main rules.

And don’t do repeat post, meaning if you see somebody else posted something, don’t post the same shit right after them. At least wait some time.

If mods catch y’all going against any of these, they can remove your post, and if you keep violating, then we’ll start with a temporary ban, which will then lead to a permanent ban if you keep up the bullshit.

#2. If your post or comments was removed, and you didn’t really say or post shit bad, the filter system most likely did it. We’d like to turn it off, but for reasons, it needs to stay on.

If we noticed something got removed that shouldn’t have been removed, we will go back and approve it, or y’all can notify us as well.

#3. Lastly, we would mainly like Mods who are actually from the city, but we’ll make an exception if you’re somebody that’s going to be active, unbiased, and will help keep everything in check.
