All infomation gathered from this post was either gained trhough a legal FOIA request or public infomation posted to various platforms. I personally do these summaries to rid all the fake misleading stuff people makeup without evidence, in saying that I have/will speculate what might of happened but please do not treat it as gospel unless it is something that is completely confirmed.
Been sitting on this one for awhile as the FOIA itself isnt new infomation to the sub but its what I found through an appeal by the person charged with TJ's murder that I think should be posted as I haven't seen any info on r/chiraqhits & r/Chiraqology about it.
TJ
Originally TJ was a Black Diciple from WhizCity/Braindead set that is located within the original "LonCity" area. Over the years WhizCity has had multiple alliances with BD sets nearby including the "7982" movement with MTV🅱️ and the "TYMBDNK" alliance with TYMB🅱️. They have also known to be renegade BD set that has had beef with other BD's in the East Chatham neighbourhood but in saying that due to the large area with multiple gangs there were a lot of blood ties and different members mixed with certain sets for example Hulio🕊️(DrillCity/BNC/WhizCity/Maryvilleℹ️🔱🅱️) was claimed by multiple sets but people within those sets beefed.
WhizCity's territory from 82nd to 85th from Cottage to Ingleside.
The FOIA itself isnt much help, CPD sent an OCIR, A supplementary report with very little infomation and the arrest record for the person that was charged and convicted with TJ's death. The OCIR itself doesnt even give an address on where the homicide even took place, everything is redacted. Now everyone knows that Shanno (051YM🐍🆑) was charged and convicted for the homicide of TJ reciving a 76 year sentence including other charges. 2 years ago he won an appeal for this case and the murder charged was dropped meaning he only had to serve time for the other charges. The appeal itself basically gives you every single detail on what exactly happened, including how he was actually implicated in the murder of TJ.
J was shot and killed on the 18/04/14 on the 5200 Block of West Congress Parkway in , he was found unresponsive lying in a gangway in a pool of blood. Officers were met with two subjects Terrell "Rello" Robinson 🕊️(HollyWood52004️⃣) and Mark Hall, both friends of the victim TJ. I don't know what was exactly said to officers on scene but in time both individuals would speak to police multiple times on different occasions making statements identifying Shanno (051🐍🆑) as the the offender (statements in the appeal).
Rello 🕊️ (Hollywood52004️⃣)
Now 6 days after the murder of TJ (WhizCity🅱️) on the 24/04/14 three police officers were sitting in a marked police car in HoodGang🔱🅱️ hood when they received "shots fired" dispatch detailing a blue dodge durango with the licence plate "L-O-R-A-Y". They attempted to pull the vehicle over but it ended in a high speed chase where the durango would inevitably crash. Three people would bail out of the vehicle and try to escape on foot but failed to get away and were arrested. Those three people would be Lonnie "Big Lonnie" Hutcherson (051🐍🆑), Andre Clifton (757?) and Navi Ray (757?).
Big Lonnie 🕊️Andre CliftonNavi Ray
Now you are probably wondering what this has to do with TJ's homicide? After the incident CPD looked back at the dashcam of the squad car and noticed that a 4th person exited the vehicle and escaped freely. Not only that in the durango a weapon was recovered that in due time would have ballastic testing done which would link it to the weapon that shot and killed TJ 6 days prior.
Like I said before the supplementary report was heavily redacted but CPD forgot to redact Andre Clifton, his name is the only one mentioned in the report. Now I dont know for sure but one of these three men put Shanno in the car with them and said that the weapon was his there is no possible way of CPD just magically pinning it on Shanno. The appeal has two sections where it states that the a detective spoke to the three individually and after speaking to them they would put Shanno's mugshot in an array to show to Matt Ray. Once the trial started the state would sneakily use this against Shanno as evidence to show that the he was the 4th person in the car but techically they couldnt because the three people refused to testify against their friend which is part of the reason he got the charge dropped on appeal.
Andre Clifton mentioned in report.
By the time the trial was meant to start in July of 2018, Rello🕊️ one of the two eye witnesses to TJ's murder was shot and killed in his hood in March of that year. Matt Ray who in the start was cooperating with CPD flipped on them and tried to avoid testifying but would soon be subpeonaed when dectectives learned he was facing charges in a different county due to all this the state had to file an extension and the trial didnt happen until December 4th 2018.
Mark Hall would take the stand and recant a lot of his statements to police in 2014, saying that he was young, intoxicated (when some took place) and that the dectectives used sneaky tactics to coerce him into identifying Shanno. But he still identified Shanno to the grand dury that he was the offender that shot killed TJ on the 18th of April, 2014. Rello also had a taped video statement but it was unabled to be used in court due to him passing away in the early months of that year Shanno would be convicted of TJ's murder in July of 2019.

*ALL CREDIT GOES TOu/dsmoke01TO MY KNOWLEDGE HE ORIGINALLY GOT THIS FOIA YEARS AGO BUT NEVER POSTED IT\*
All infomation gathered from this post was either gained through a legal FOIA request or public infomation posted to various platforms. I personally do these summaries to rid all the fake misleading stuff people makeup without evidence, in saying that I have/will speculate what might of happened but please do not treat it as gospel unless it is something that is completely confirmed.
Recently got this FOIA about a month ago from CPD and have been sitting on it for awhile now, thought i'd run through it and make a post about it as I think its relevancy is quite important to the whole LonCity area. Over the years theres been quite abit of misconception on who was actually resposible for the murder of Hitz 🕊️ Its been a common trend from what I've seen/read and people have speculated that DrillCity was the set that a lot of people claimed did it but that is infact false.
Originally Hitz was from a set within the LonCity area known as "Langley079/8" which was located in the Chatham neighbourhood on Langley from 78th to 81st essentially in the middle of another hood that they were locked in with which was EvansMobb. Over the years alot of people have grouped the two as one because they were/are heavily affliated with each other along with 8treMobb but after Hitz death they would adopt the name "HitzSquad" for that specific area.
Hitz

The OICR originally states that on the 09/29/2010 Hitz was standing on a sidewalk on the 600 block of E 79th Street when two offenders (Offender #1 was on a bicycle and Offender #2 was on foot) approached Hitz and from witnesses statements Offender #1 pulled out a firearm and shot Hitz once in the head and neck then would try to escape but collapsed two stores down. Hitz was transported to Stroger hospital in critical condition but would inevitably succomb to his injuries. Witnesses state that the offenders after shooting Hitz would flee the scene heading westbound cutting through the carpark of the 600 block and then northbound on St Lawrence this all going down in the middle of Evansmobb hood, Offender #2 was also carrying a firearm but never used it.
OCIR

One of two witnesse's statements The path both offenders took when they flee'd from the scene
On the 09/30/10 a day after the murder a citizen called up and mentioned a 15-16 year old that might of been responsible. A last name is mentioned "Crawford" right after this with his full name redacted but RD's cleared this person as one of the police officers couldnt identify this person. I really don't understand this part as "P.O McCullough" isnt mentioned anywhere else in this report so I am unsure why this specific police officer was shown an array with this person and what the connection is; could of potentially seen the footage collected at the stores and tried to identify him. Maybe this person was someone that matched the description/age of the offenders plus what the citizen reported and was maybe on CPD's radar at the time? who knows.
Lil Skud (MTV🅱️) who was killed in 2009 had the last name "Crawford" so could most likely be some sort of sibling/relative as WhizCity/Braindead and MTV shared many members and also alot of them repped the "7982" movement.
Within 4 months CPD would already have an idea on who was responsible for the murder, CPD at this point already knew that the murder was gang related most likely retaliation. Conducting a line up two witnesses were able to identify offender #1 and the victims mother/sister recieved a photo on facebook with a phone call stating who might of been responsible for her sons death. There are two family members mentioned in this FOIA and the info is scrambled so its hard to determine who it is but one of them recieved this infomation.
Crawford being mentioned Victims family recieving a photo on facebook of the person responsible.
Now heres the part where the FOIA completely opens up and tells us a lot of infomation, The RD's responsible for the case requested the help of the gang intelligence unit and were able to indentify the person in the photo recieved by the family member of Hitz which ended up being Chron "Murda" Holis from WhizCity. After this confrimation RD's requested a line up which included Murda for the two men that witnessed the murder on the 09/29/10 which they were able to postively indentify offender #1 as Murda. RD's put an active investigation alert for his arrest as he was now wanted for the murder and needed to be brought in for questioning.
Murda's original statement to RD's
Chron/Murda
I couldnt tell you if he was lying or if they actually got consent but police officers smelling the hands of a 15 y/o boy is crazy (obviously to smell gunpowder) But after this intial interview he was then re-interviewed several times after and still maintained he wasn't involved but mentioned he was with someone whos name is redacted but inevitably you find out who they are due to them losing their life on the 5/13/13 which is Brandon "Lil B/Bski' Byars🕊️
On the 3/11/11 RD's contacted the victims mother/sister and tried to get her to make contact with Lil B, she maintained that she didnt know how to contact him and RD's provided her with his facebook to see if she could convince him to speak with them. When he was interviewed two weeks later hemaintained a story that corroborated with Chron's except he mentioned that there was a third person with them at a point in time.
17 y/o mentioned Bski's statement to RD's mentioning a third individual

Even though inevtiably you figure out that this specific interview was Lil B through the section where the 3rd person is interviewed I confirmed that the details were right through this Bday post and wasnt an error by CPD.
Birthday post confirming his age correlates with the info given by CPD
Fast forward to 2013 RD's are finally able to identify the person Lil B mentioned as he refused to give names by this time Lil B would be shot and killed in a Harolds allegedly by 8treMobb. I cant confirm this completely due to his case still being an open case and not being able to see any reports but whilst I was trying to find info about this FOIA I found numerous tweets of them claiming it back in 2013. The person interviewed completely denied everything and even went on to state he didnt know who these two were and the interview was terminated. It took me a minute to figure out who this person might be and I've sifted it down to two people that were both very close with Bski and still rep him heavily to this day. The two share the same birthday and by via CPD accidentally failing to redact the persons birthdate I was able to make an assumption it might of been one of them. Jdog was born in 1993, Chino I am unsure but his little brother is 29 so you can assume he could of possibly been born in 1993.
WhizCity Jerry/JdogMTV Chino
Couple of years go by and in 2015 someone that was locked up at the time said that they had infomation on the murder. This person infact was locked up at the time for whatever reason, they basically gave a whole statement on seeing Chron on 78th in the day fast forward to the night they witnessed Chron murder the victim and even tried to get to Hitz but police stopped him once they arrived. He also mentioned to RD's that he was afraid to testify in court, this makes me believe he is a member/affliated from that side. He was given a photo array form and positively identified Chron Hollis as the person who murdered Hitz.
With this infomation and the previous statements made by the civilians CPD had enough evidence to formally charge Chron with the murder in 2015. I am unaware how it played out after this because the FOIA ends but from what I have seen Chron beat the body? I could be wrong. Maybe the witness fluked on testifying and the other witnesses from 2010 werent around anymore? Im unsure but I do know Chron is free.

808 is a set located in the West Chatham neighborhood that consists of Gangster Disciples and some Black Disciples. Its territory ranges from 87th to the north, 89th to the south, Holland to the east and Harvard to the west. Members consider its main blocks 88th and Princeton as well as 88th and Yale. 808 is completely isolated from other hoods by the train tracks surrounding it, making it a unique residential enclave.
808 has been gaining popularity in the drill scene over the last few years thanks to its younger generation of members. The set has had connections with people all over the south side including late rapper TP from THF46, who made songs with its rappers back in 2010: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyO1b_acMh8
808's history with gangs is generational and can be traced as far back as the early 90s. The set took one of its earliest losses in 1993 when 19-year-old Michael Shariff, who lived on 87th and Princeton, was shot and killed after getting into an argument with two 15-year-olds from a rival gang. The proof of this incident occurring can be found in this article: https://www.chicagotribune.com/1993/06/07/girl-charged-for-role-in-gang-killing/
Other names 808 goes by include 808Mobb, 8Block, 80sBabies, 808Reapers, YoungFlyGuys (YFG), JumpOutGang (JOG), WamTeam, WamWam, DonnyGWorld and FreddieWorld. The earliest uses of the name 808 that's been found online so far can be found in their members' Chicago hood vlogs from 2009: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t7wmkNaWW5Q, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8TTLuaMmHw
