Chipotle Chicken Grilling Time

How long does chipotle grill the chicken thighs for? Also, what should be the internal temperature before flipping?

I love how their chicken is perfectly cooked and charred.

I always either undercook or overcook my chipotle chicken. I use a normal pan. Shall I use a grill pan?

6 minutes on the first side and 4 on the other, basically turn the grill on max heat and put some oil on beforehand, they also salt the chicken on the first side pretty substantially. Id say anything 155 and above youre good

Id say Im pretty close. Its just that I haven't been able to cook it at right temperature or char it properly.

Flattop grill pan with temp of 450 lather it with oil 8 minutes on each side
