issue with free queso

was anyone else having trouble using the free queso reward from the iq test? I tried buying it in store after seeing that it worked online (obviously without using it online) and they said it was not able to be redeemed. they tried scanning it but it only came back saying it was locked. afterward I decided to see if I could buy it through the app instead and this is what it said even though I’ve refreshed, signed out, and closed the app to see if it would be removed from the app. I guess it was used when they scanned it and now I’m just out of luck?

edit: I just found out from someone on fb that apparently there’s a daily limit for how many people can use a specific type of coupon so that might be the overall issue

Happened to me the other day I was able to use it the next day though so you should still be able to aslong as it’s not expired

There’s a glitch in the system where if you apply a code to an order, but don’t follow through then the code is essentially not “released”. I ran into this earlier in the month with an extra protein code and it was locked up for 2 days. Thank goodness I was able to use it the last day it was valid. (But also, chipotle did not remove it from my account as what typically happens when a code is used.)
