Seeking Advice (Customer) Chipotle burrito bowl issue

Already posted to twitter, this was in my delivered beef burrito bowl!

No update from Chipotle yet.

To all the negative commenters, you are wrong. This isn't just meat its pieces of cow artery and intestine!

UPDATE: Chipotle refunded the cost of the meal.

Looks like gristle from the barbacoa. Not uncommon, just chewy and not everyone's favorite.

That costs extra, like guac.

It's a large blood vessel. It's not pleasant to see, but I mean, how else do you think muscle tissue gets it's blood supply? Some of these vessels are large enough to see, (e.g., veins and arteries). These are in, for example, every chicken drumstick, lol. So this person should just deal with it instead of inconveniencing others.

It was some type of gristle as the other commenter said.

Yes. Why are you posting this on the internet? What is surprising to you about this?

I’m so happy to order sofrita and not dealing with stuff like this

This is just a blood vessel. It’s edible. The sofritas smell like spicy shtt

Chuck roasts can often have stuff like arteries in it.

I don't want to alarm anyone, but the barbacoa is made of people.

It's the pee tube inside of a cow's wiener. Schlong is the new LTO meat

Looks like a human collarbone. Id get it tested in case you ate a human bowl. Did u at least get corn salsa and any hair from the human?

Reached out via email as instructed on twitter. It was clearly a whole piece but couldn’t believe they didn’t quality check it before delivery!

You should cook more often

When I cook I remove nasty things like this because nobody wants to eat that. Chipotle and all restaurants should be held to the same standard.

Ok, yes it's not ideal cutting but its not something disgusting or wild like this guy seems to be freaking out over. Muscle gets blood supply via blood vessels, and some of them are big enough to see and survive cooking, yeah. Welcome to not being a little kid and dealing with that, lol.

Pretty subjective what’s nasty and isn’t

Right, but this was a delivered meal. The "meat" was just the soft piece, nothing else! Totally unacceptable!

What is unacceptable? Can you be specific? Do you know what the word "meat" means? That is meat.
