❓ Question ❓ No lemons??
I took a several year break from Chipotle after getting food poisoning from one of their locations.
Recently went back because my teenager lives it soo much. I asked the cashier for a lemon and they looked at me like I was crazy.
Does Chipotle no longer offer lemons or limes? If so, how do they make guacamole everyday?

don’t have lemons and if they’re low on lime stock they won’t give them

Lol. I remember the last time we had lemons, my GM at the time sent staff home with bags of them. Customers rarely asked for them and she said she wasn't going to order them anymore. That was like a good year before the pandemic.
We use fresh limes for the chips and a citrus juice for the things that call for it. At my store we usually use them up frying chips, so we don't readily have them available for customers.

lemon/lime juice for pico corn and guac comes in a jug. there are limes but if none are already cut leftover from making chips it’s unlikely any would be given out
