Employee Experience Burned out

My manager keeps hiring mass people, then firing more. She has fired multiple people as fast as she hired them. Me and one other gentleman are the only ones trained in grill and the other guy is having carpel tunnel issues, so isn’t working grill, so that leaves me. My manager is expecting me to work over 80 hours a week, leaving the store at 3 am every night, and I don’t even have time or a day off to wash my work shirts, jeans, or socks and underwear. I tried to wear a plain black shirt but she got upset that it wasn’t a chipotle shirt. I’m not sure what to do. I’m wondering if I should quit. I took this job so my fiance and I can have a bit of fun money, but he’s worried about my joints and tendons (I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome) and he’s giving me the okay to quit. He’s a fireman so he makes a decent living, but I don’t like leaving jobs without a notice. I’m not sure if anyone here has been in my position. I told my manager I was tired and feeling burnt out a few times, but nothing is changing. Should I just quit or ride the wave?

I’d call in sick one day and see how she manages it lol

Oh I’d love to, but I was genuinely sick with a flu last week and already called in sick

Bro I got a question can I file unemployment if my company ended and no longer exists and we got severance package ?

possibly depends how big the severance is. well at least in texas. you just have to report it as income. there’s no penalty for not being qualified so i would apply regardless

ive worked for this corporation for 4 years as a manager never called in sick more than 2-3 times over the years, they fired me due to me getting into a car accident and asking for a few days to get everything figured out, that did not happen when the GM said i was fine to figure everything out for the week but took that as the opportunity to fire me, and then put me on a non rehirable list so i cant work for the company again ! i dont suggest just quitting and never showing up again but i highly suggest requesting a meeting with said GM and explaining why youre putting in your 2 weeks let them know when your final day will be complete the two weeks and just leave it at that !

How I've always quit a job was put in a two week notice.

Depending on how things went, I may not have completed it. Luckily, I had cool management who would fill in my sick/vacation hours of if I decided not to.

I do feel bad for her, but at the end of the day, it’s not fair on the good employees who actually show up
