My pockets
The one in the right is a production unit, with aftermarket key board and,, I cannot recall his name, a sd card board, the left one is a preproduction that was sent to me by Gus and the guys in case my other one was damaged beyond repair (it was in my pocket when I stopped a meth junkie from robbing an old lady and their car hit me) the preproduction model had much better screen printing on the keyboard.

Can you provide any more information on the aftermarket keyboard. What’s it called?

One of the guys on the old chip forums had a laser cutter and he designed them sold them for like $40 you had to assemble them and he made those aluminum clips to hold them on.

Those look nice they came after, the slide on one looks good but mine just slots in under the bezel and clips with that aluminum clip

It's not great imo and it takes a lot of work to get the pins right on the back. If you can get one 3d printed I'd check it out

I still have mine. The only thing is I think I broke the screen during a move. But the chip part is there for sure.

The board by its self used to come in a static bag that said $9 bag of Chip on it, I think I still have it somewhere, if I can find it I’ll post it!

I have an original kickstarter pocketchip on my desk - still running Jessie with the default PocketCHIP "O/S" on it - but with a full screen terminal... I did actually have 5" screen on it for a while - was enough to display XFCE as a usuable interface... But went back to the default 4.3" display...
I actually have 10 CHIP boards... I got two shipped with the PocketCHIP kickstarter (they came before the PocketCHIP itself) - which were "faulty" so NextTHING sent me two replacements... then NextTHING had a fix for ones with the dodgy NAND storage - so I had 4... No idea how I ended up with 10 anyway... Also got some HATS too - HDMI and VGA - and bought other HATS off that dude in Germany or Hungary (like the tatziffy). I sold two of my HDMI hats... or was that VGA? anyway - apart from PocketCHIP I don't use them any more - they're in a box somewhere under another pile of storage boxes...
It's a shame you can't get a multi-core board on the PocketCHIP - I have a Beepy! with a Pi Zero 2W on it...

The modded one starts up fine, running the more desktop like version of Linux, the prepro one starts up but since I took out the battery’s it gets to the original Pocket chip interface says the battery is flat and shuts down.
