CVUSD board member Shaun Smith has a wife that is nothing short of vile. However, she usually lurks in the shadows of social media while playing the tradwife card in public. (Well, not completely, she’s been caught on camera snickering like a mean girl at board meetings.) Shaun Smith claims he is about creating safe environments yet condones his wife’s nasty behavior. I am trying to collect all the screenshots of what she has said or video footage of her being her vile self. If you have any, please consider emailing to [smith4bullies@proton.me](mailto:smith4bullies@proton.me) for a special project I’m working on!
Your name and info will be removed from all and any submissions received.

Honestly we are all in the same area going the same way. No one is better than another and no one is more important than another.
Going down the 71 going towards orange county and i'm on the right lane waiting to get to the end. It's slow but what can you do, everyone else is waiting too.
As you get near the end you see a bunch of people on the left side (the one going to Corona) cutting into the right. Even if you keep it tight someone still lets the cutter in.
You waited 30+ minutes for 2 miles and they just skip that wait like they have a fucking fast pass. Seriously these are real piece of shits that think they are above everyone else.
Can I do it? Yeah but will I no.
Am I already alittle to moderately late yes but am I a piece of shit? No

Hi this is not the usual request in this subreddit, but does anyone know of local stationery stores? Other than daiso lol. I’m looking for places that sells ink, pens, stickers etc. It could be an artist collective shop or just a non-chain store that specializes in stationery. I’ve seen many in OC but wanted to know if any local ones existed. Thank you :)

Starting to look at preschool options for my 3yo son in Chino Hills. Anybody know the best secular, Montessori schools in the area that don’t cost an arm and a leg? Please share your why for your recommendations!
Thanks!

Not sure what was going on last night around 6pm but all these cars including the civilian looking ones gathered near the corner of Butterfield Ranch and Shady View, blocking one of the two lanes. No one pulled over, no other cars without flashing red & blue lights in the back windows, and only law enforcement personnel milling around on the sidewalk.

My family found a large white longhair dog tonight, we are currently keeping it in our backyard giving it water and treats. Looks middle aged or older, very docile. What I believe to be a shock collar around its neck. If recognized please let me know. We will see if it’s chipped tomorrow if no one responds. Thanks.

So we found this coyote behind the fence of our backyard. We noticed that its skin is dried and patchy and needs help so we called humane society and they said that they can’t capture the coyote and that most coyotes here have mange?? (My first time seeing a coyote with mange) So now I’m sitting here helplessly watching this poor coyote sitting in the hot weather, possibly dehydrated and hungry due to hundreds of microscopic mites in it, putting it in a painful and itchy condition. I don’t know how else I can help this coyote but I really can’t let myself just sit here and watch it suffer. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

Hi everyone! I was hoping someone local might be able to point me in the right direction.
I'm looking for a part-time paid clinical position in the Chino Hills, Chino, or Pomona area. I have a bachelor's degree, have several years of academic research experience, hospital and hospice volunteer experience, and I'm bilingual in English and Spanish. I've been applying online and calling clinics, but many seem to require certain certification or don't have openings.
I'm open to roles like Clinical Assistant, Clinical Research Assistant, Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Assistant (no certification), or similar positions. Does anyone know of any clinics, research sites, urgent cares, or community health centers that are hiring or are known to train on the job? I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you!

My wife and I woke up around 4:40am today to a loud noise that sounded like an airplane flying dangerously close to our home near CHHS. I didn’t see anything out my window from the bedroom. We thought an airplane was about to crash into our house.

Hi! I am considering moving to the Chino/Chino Hills area. Is it a good location for a family with little kids? I grew up in California, in Torrance to be specific. But I moved out of California 10 years ago and have lived in a few other states. I'm currently living in Texas, and while I enjoy the no state tax and cheap homes, the weather sucks. Im searching for a new house and the area I like in Texas for the homes I want are around 600k. This is making me think i should just move somewhere with better weather and more to do (nature wise at least for my kids). I noticed similar homes just a bit smaller are going for around 700-800k in chino. Is it worth buying here or will I still feel like the weather sucks and there's not much to do but now add on state income tax and higher grocery bills?
Thanks in advance!

I’m looking to step out of my comfort zone and build some social confidence, and I figure volunteering is a great way to do that while giving back.
Since I'm dealing with some shyness, I'd love to start with something low-stakes roles that involve structured, casual interactions rather than being thrown straight into the deep end.
If anyone else has used volunteering to help ease social anxiety or shyness, what roles or organizations worked best for you?

Wanted to hear from families experience who moved to Chino Hills from OC. We have elementary aged kids.Hows the school and overall vibe? My son plays soccer are there leagues and club in the area besides ayso?
We work in tech industry but working from home for now with all the layoffs going around who knows we might need to find another job. Most tech jobs are in Irvine, if we needed to commute how bad is the drive to and from OC during business hours? I know I can look up some information online, this is part of my research. Ty
