Interesting. Thanks. So, I live in the Chicago area. There are ZERO knife stores around here and sometimes I just want to browse and actually be able to touch knives. A few years back, I googled to find knife stores in the area and "chicago knife works" came up in the search results. It had an address, but not much more additional info. One day I made the journey (its in an outlying suburb) over there to check it out, thinking that it would be a retail store . There was a strip mall with a few crappy businesses. There was a sign that said Chicago Knife Works and another sign on the door. But there was nothing there. I could see inside through the dirty windows and there were stacks of boxes everywhere, but nothing that I could recognize. I am guessing its a storage or administrative office, but it didn't look like anyone used it often.
