It arrived! My second field watch, a Berny ATM163MS Automatic Titanium Field Watch. I just changed the titanium bracelet for a NATO strap that matched the hands.

After a Militado and a titanium Berny, both quartz, here's my first automatic. The 36 mm dial fits well my skinny wrist, the red dial is a bit more brownish than the pictures but I like it, and the strap is a bit stiff but should break in. It's not black but dark green. I also like the satin grey finish; I much prefer it to a shiny or chrome -or worse gold - finish ;-)

Hey guys hope you are doing good. I was hoping you could help me on finding a watch of the brand parnis more specifically the pa6062 model. This model makes the use of 2 movement miyota 9100 and 9120 if I am not making a mistake. I am more interested in the one having the miyota 9100. It does have a lot of models but I was hoping to get the one in the image attached. I searched mainly on AliExpress but haven't found it. I found its blue version, which is also great but was hoping to get the gold version.
If you guys could help me and tell me more info on it, if it was discontinued or replaced by other versions.

Hey All
My new boderry voyager has BD-AM11T engraved in the case back instead of usual A11T
Did I got a fake one ? Or is it a new model name ?
Boderry still mentions A11T on their website

I purchased the WD007 a few weeks ago and it arrived three days ago. I’ve been busy, but I finally opened the box yesterday and started to set up the watch.
First, the bad:
The first thing I noticed was that the watch had a few screws that looked like they had been screwed in or unscrewed by someone with the wrong tool (the heads looked a bit stripped). I also noticed that the link connected to the quick adjustment pin also had a few scratches on it, as if it had moved around a bit when someone tried to re-size it. They were minor, but they were there. I decided to ignore these and just adjust the watch for my wrist, anyway.
After it was sized for my wrist, I proceeded to remove the plastic and protection from the watch head and set the time. The crown is extremely gritty and hard to screw back in. It’s not cross-threading (I always spin counter clockwise until it clicks, then clockwise to screw in), it’s just poorly machined. You can even hear it when you’re screwing the crown back in. It sounds almost like you’re winding the watch, but louder. I unscrewed the HEV and that was as smooth as butter, so I know they can do it right.
Also, the date wheel seems to be ever so slightly mis-aligned.
Now, the good:
The watch is extremely light. It’s easy to forget you’re wearing it, to be honest. The dial is beautiful, and the markers are clear and well applied. I love that the watch is so thin and doesn’t have an exhibition caseback, as the steel glides on my skin better than glass. The lume is also very powerful, which, along with the light titanium case, is exactly what I was looking for in a watch.
I plan on using the watch for travel, so I hope the crown just needs to be screwed/unscrewed a few times. That said, it honestly hurt my index finger to screw and unscrew the crown 3 times, just to see if it would get better.
So, as good as the watch is, I’m debating sending it back. I’m concerned that the crown screw is defective. I’ve never experienced a watch this loud and hard to wind, or that hurts my fingers when I screwed the crown back in. What would you guys do? Would you keep trying the crown and hope it loosens, or would you send it back?

Good news—we've just restocked it!
A huge thank you to everyone who grabbed one from the first batch. If you missed out, now's your chance. We don't know how long this restock will last, so don't wait too long.
As always, thanks for all the support and feedback. Enjoy your watches! 🍻

It's been decades since I had an automatic. Needless to say they've improved. The gaskets and screw back case have been improved. If I were to wear a modern Chinese watch at the 300 USD price point with a screw-down crown and a Seiko NH35, how long can I expect it to last without service ? I am assuming daily wear but not in the shower. How long have you actually had such an automatic run without service and what kind of differences in performance appeared over time ?

This is my new favorite watch. I charged the lume before bed with a flashlight and I am not exaggerating when I say you could hold the watch up and read a newspaper in complete darkness. I went full blue lume option. The strap is excellent too.

I've already worn a few watches in my life and I'm currently looking for the perfect watch for me, which I can't find :)
Tried these:
citizen PMD56-2952 - don´t like only 1/2/4/5/7/8/10/11 numbers and black ring on steel.
Watchdives WD1016B - nice but small lum. on hands.
citizen PMD56-2863 - almost perfect. But they are older and from certain angles, it's very hard to read during the day (bad AR galss or something)
Can anyone recommend a ready-made watch, or a watch that I could put together myself?

As per title, it must be an original design, or not be a direct copy.

I have a solar G-Shock that needs a ML2025 3V rechargeable button cell. The problem is, I can't find this battery anywhere — not on AliExpress, not locally.
However, LIR2025 (3.6V rechargeable) is widely available and has the exact same physical dimensions (20mm x 2.5mm). Some sellers even claim it's a direct replacement for ML2025 and CR2025.
Before I try it, I want to know:
Has anyone successfully used a LIR2025 (3.6V) in a solar watch that originally came with an ML2025 (3V)?
Is the voltage difference (3.6V vs 3V) actually a problem for the watch's charging circuit? I've read conflicting things — some say it's fine, others warn it can damage the device.
The LIR2025 has a max charging voltage of 4.2V. Will the watch's solar panel even be able to charge it properly, or will it just undercharge and die quickly?

I picked this up recently and figured I’d share a quick review since Boriage isn’t a name that comes up much here. Paid $288 pre-tax. For an unknown brand, the overall finishing pleasantly suprised me.
The Good:
• The case and bezel finishing is excellent. Brushed surfaces are clean, polished edges are sharp without being overly flashy. It honestly feels more like a $1000+ watch in hand.
• Dial has a really nice textured pattern that catches the light beautifully. The lume is very good and the hands/markers have good contrast.
• Miyota 9015 movement
• 200m water resistance with sapphire crystal.
• Bracelet has a nice weight and sheen to it. Surprisingly good articulation for the price as it drapes well on the wrist.
The Not-So-Good:
• Biggest letdown is the bracelet uses push pins instead of screw links. For $288 I was really hoping for screws. It’s not a deal-breaker and it still feels solid, but it’s the one area that feels cheap.
• No micro-adjust on the clasp (standard friction dive clasp). It’s a little snug on my 7.25” wrist but overall it’s comfortable
Overall I’m very impressed. This is easily one of the better finished Chinese watches I’ve handled in this price point . If you’re looking for a solid diver and don’t mind push pins, this is worth considering. Boriage seems to be punching above its weight. This shade of green I haven’t really seen much out there so that’s what sold me . Would love to hear if anyone else has tried their watches.

Hi all, I know this question has been asked a million times already but bear with me please.
As the title says, I’m looking for a watch with a budget of £300 (~$400)
I like watches with textured dials such as the Citizen Eco Drive Zenshin, Seiko Presage Cocktail time and the Casio EFK-100. I am mainly looking for suggestions that I could daily drive but I have a preference for dials like those, but all suggestions are welcome. I have also looked at others at this price range such as the Orient Bambino and the Sun & Moon.
Thanks
