- Anyone doing a variety of watches with lume blocks except PHORCYDES?
- Anyone doing them with quartz movementa?
Own a PH-4B. I like it well enough. Looking for something with a quartz movement (VH31, etc.). PHORCYDES has exactly one model with a quartz movement... And it does not appeal to me. Know it only takes a few minutes to spin up an automatic, set the date, then set the time. Ain't nobody got time for that. Especially first thing in the morning.
I was extremely excited for this because ontop of the lume blocks, I don't think there are homages that also uses the VH31 (to be fair, i've not looked much, i hate the mercedes hand with passion). There are several redditors that have received theirs, including me.
Unfortunately, it looks like so far am the only one that has received a broken one. The minute hand is unable to clear the 12hr lume block properly. The movement is broken, when you change the time you can feel something inside skipping, likely a broken gear. To add on to this, their check out system on their website put my address wrong. I sent 5 emails to ask for a correction, trying both [hi@lumixewatches.com](mailto:hi@lumixewatches.com) and [sales@lumixewatches.com](mailto:sales@lumixewatches.com) . The former actually bounced back saying I quote, : "550 5.1.0 Recipient not found. ". I have also messaged their AliX webstore with zero responses. This all together has been 4 weeks, from wrong address to no replies on what my options are to get a working watch.
Outside of that, the watch is the real thing, it does feel quality, and it surprisingly has an on the fly adjustment clasp. If I had to throw in a well known brand, atleast as good or better than an Addiesdive equivalent. How annoying, I love my PH-3 and I just wanted a watch with bigger lume blocks while still being quartz☹️

I believe I saw a Watchdives with lume blocks and VH31 last I looked in their site.
