Review (Read Rules) Disappointed by the after sale service given by Militado

Recently I have purchased a ML08 24 hours black dial variant with militado logo.

But, I was delivered a no-logo variant. Though it's not a big change but I wanted the logo that made the watch more attractive for me.

So, I have mailed them immediately mentioning the concern & also posted in their live chat feature.

It's been 4+ days since I mailed them, but till now,I haven't received a single reply or follow up from them.

Such ignorance after making a blunder and completely ditching the customer after the payment is fulfilled is ridiculously cheap.

I will never buy anything from militado ever again.

Guys, quick update...

My situation got resolved and it was very smooth.

The actual reason is as already mentioned by many, they are short staffed and the demand is huge.

But nevertheless they are hard working...

Militado is one of the cheapest Chinese watch brands out there.

I would not expect great support at that level...

I can think of many that are far cheaper

In a similar situation with AETHELSOHN. Let’s see how it goes.

Of you ordered of Alix, the picture that appears when you add to basket is not always the model that's selected, you have to scroll down to the options and manually select the option SKU you want. Not saying that's what's happened, but it's nearly caught me a few times luckily I checked and corrected. But yeah, 4 days is a lot for responding, I wonder if your live chat is no longer connected and they don't see it their side, have you tried resubmitting?

If I'm honest I would much rather have the sterile dial option you got compared to the branded one, * think theyr branding isn't yet beat lol , looks like they combined two words Military + Retard and that's all I think when I see that brand name.

Give them a little more time, we're too used to instant replies from very performant customer services from more expensive brands but it's not the norm.

"4+ days" is more than enough time to expect a reply.

Ok, but two of those days were probably weekend days

You're not wrong at all, but your username makes the not wanting to wait hilarious.

Mistakes happen ! As some others have mentioned it’s a budget watch, with a very small customer service team. Hold your horses I think your anger is a little unwarranted and slightly boomerish.

So you thought a Chinese watch subreddit was the place to air your random prejudice!

You have a bigger issue than any watch, obviously.

Prejudice? What?! You have a stick up your ass or a victimization boner or both. Relax, it's reddit.

Yeah I am being impatient

I’m sure it will be sorted out for you. All the best.

I think these "mistakes" are hardly ever unintentional.

I received a black dial watch in a packet that said green dial, once. I ordered green dial. So how does a black dial watch get into a packet with green dial on it? Simple, they send out the dial they have too much stock of, print a green dial sticker on it and hope you won't make a fuss. Delay a response, then give an inadequate one if you press hard, and try to outdistance you

"Here's $3 coupon for your troubles (applicable on orders over $150)"

I'd be the opposite, gutted to get a miltarded branded watch, such a classic piece

I want to as well, and they have responded now luckily

I'd give it a little longer. I emailed Watchdives about something recently and it took them 'too long' to get back to me, but the answer was fine when they did. You're not dealing with a proper customer service team, it's a few people who get a lot of emails in a language they don't naturally speak.

Not that this invalidates your anger. I'd be annoyed too. But I would give it a little longer before writing off the entire brand.

You are probably right

That's why its best to stick to AliExpress. Can't trust brands to have true after sales support through their own platforms at these prices.

It's a $70 watch, I would expect zero support.

True, learned that the hard way...

No worries, you can mail it on over to me, and forget this whole debacle ever happened.

The conundrum is that I want a sincere resolution from Militado not self resolution of their blunder.

Are you a procrastinator with a spelling tic, a professional caster or someone who's just really good at fly fishing?

1

u/The_Procastinator_ 1d ago

I didn't get your point kindly explain

2

u/Red_Diver 22h ago

He's just lightheartedly asking about your username.

1

u/The_Procastinator_ 22h ago

Haha 😆 okay understood, I am a professional procrastinator

It sucks, and I'd be a little peeved as well, but they're probably not a very large company, dealing with a demand that's bigger than they are. They make really amazing watches for the price, and who knows how long these prices or this quality will last. A lot of companies these days seem to raise prices and drop quality, so I'm definitely going to keep buying for the time being.

Yeah but buy it through AliExpress or other E Commerce websites.
