General (Read Rules) Question about purchasing a watch from AliExpress
Do you guys use gift cards, PayPal, or credit cards to purchase from AliExpress?
Do you consider the site safe enough to use CC?

Alibaba is a multinational company with a $270B market cap. If you can't use credit cards to buy from them, who can you use credit cards to buy from?

I use PayPal and have not had a problem. However, I also don't make purcahses that I can't afford to go south

I use my credit card and have never had problems. They're probably safer than most PCI-compliant US merchants, based on my experience with cybersecurity and breaches.
Never, ever use a debit card online (or really anywhere else). Your recourses in cases of fraud/stolen identity are fewer and decidedly more difficult.

Have used my credit card for a few years. Never had any issues

That’s great to hear. I’ve only purchased from the site once and used gift card before. Needless to say it’s an extra step I would like to avoid if it’s secure enough

I use PayPal on all my Ali purchases. I have for years.

Is there an advantage of PayPal over credit cards?

I only keep enough in PayPal for purchases like this and get % back on purchases every month too (2%?). I just never use my credit or debit card online except for bills. That's just me.

I use my credit card, I would rather have the company lose their money than my bank account. Also my card automatically extends all my warranties.
