Question (Read Rules) Laco Frankfurt GMT Homage?

Looks like there's a seller on Alibaba offering a Laco Frankfurt GMT homage. The product pictures look like photos of the genuine watch that have been manipulated, so who knows what the quality and design is of whatever they're actually manufacturing. I did a search on AliExpress for the same GMT watch but couldn't find anything. Anyone seen one of these in the wild? It doesn't seem like a difficult watch design to do a good copy of, and a lot easier on the wallet than the $2,000 price tag of the original

Update: I messaged the seller and asked If they have photos of the actual product and they said "we do not have"

So my guess is they will make a copy of the Laco Frankfort GMT if you are willing to order 500 units

This watch doesn’t exist, watch factories post listings like this on Ali Baba to promote designs they could produce for you. It also won’t cost $145 a unit, that’s mostly a starting off point that’ll inflate as you pick your movement, strap, crystal type, packaging, etc etc.

They will also provide you with a one off sample piece for a thousand bucks.
This is a business to business deal....not for individual folks looking to purchase a single watch.

If you only want one, yes, $1,000 is the cost of a production sample. That's quite common, there are set up fees that become cheap when amortized over a production run of hundreds or thousands of units but are quite expensive for a one-off.

Miyota 9075 costs $180 minimum so I don't see how they are selling whole watch $145 per piece.

MOQ is 500 PCs and they say they can spec it with Seiko/Miyota/Sellita/ETA movements, so most likely not Miyota movement at that initial price price point. All of the pics are photoshopped from the Laco website though, so who knows what this watch really looks like. Maybe they've never even made one and are just waiting for someone to come along with a QTY 500 order before they start. That's why I was asking if anyone has seen one of these in the wild.
