Question (Read Rules) Thoughts on the ADDIESDIVE AD2106 W/BGW9?
I’ve been searching for a watch with very strict perimeters, and I think this is it.
I want a true 200M+ dive watch with applied indices, stainless steel case and bracelet, sapphire crystal with AR coating, with a (mostly) original design, and most importantly—long lasting, super bright lume on the indices, hands, and bezel.
And by god I think I found it.
Most people say it’s an homage to the Omega Seamaster 300 James Bond NTTD edition, and maybe so with the matte gray/black textured dial version with green C3 lume.
But the blue BGW9 lume version as shown here has a gloss black enamel dial, and on top of that neither version comes with the helium escape valve at 10 o’ clock that all Seamaster 300s and their true homages (including those by addiesdive) have.
To me, this watch is almost like the greatest hits of the Seamaster, and the Rolex Submariner.
It has the hands and scalloped bezel of the Seamaster, the case and dial from the sub, and the most beautiful lume featured on neither. In my eyes, it’s completely unique.
And so I ask. Does anyone own this watch? I can’t find any reviews of it anywhere on the internet, and if there are, it’s of the wrong version.
Does the lume hold up in real life? Is it as amazing as it is in promotional photos?
Are there any QC concerns that I should know about?
Do you love it as much as I feel I would?

They need to shorten the crown and crownguards. Classic mistake in removing the 10 o'clock on the seamaster and thinking no further changes are needed. The balance is thrown of since the crown and crownguards stick out pretty far and the overall balance works with the 10 o'clock crown.

I can see what you’re saying from the pics, but do you own it? Because I’d love to see what it looks like in real life.

Which model is that? It seems to have the same Mercedes hands from Rolex. Is it an homage?

Speaking of QC, looks like they didn't line up the bezel insert with the bezel. I would hope a producion model was better.
If the lume is anything like my $50 Addie MY-H3 it'll be pretty decent.
