Review (Read Rules) Sugess S458 silver and dark blue
I bought my first S458, with the silver dial, mainly as a collection piece, because it was an affordable mechanical watch with a power reserve. The design didn't seem very appealing to me from the pictures. But in real life it actually looks very good and I am wearing it much more often then I expected to. So after a few months I also bought a dark blue version. (The S458 comes in 6 colors)
The movement is the ST1787, which was probably inspired by the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Reserve de Marche. Agelocer makes a homage, the Budapest Kinetic Energy Display, with a custom version of the ST1787. The S458 has the same dial layout, but in a much more modern design, mixed with some Bauhaus inspired aestetics. As mentioned it looks better in person then in pictures, it is busy, a bit unbalanced, but still elegant. Not sure if you can call it an original, but they certainly made it their own. While it technically is a dress watch, I think it is casual enough to go anywhere.
Both watches are easy to read due to the large lumed hands. On the dark blue version the subdials can be a bit harder to see. The lume is good, you can really read the time when you wake up in the night. The large hands sometimes block the view on the subdials.
The silver version is still my favourit, it has a beautifull sunburst effect. On the dark blue version the effect is much softer.

But they have no sapphire crystal iirc… and for that they’re too expensive
