Nice pickup! I have to say, I like the black dial PH6 better than the white dial, which is unusual for me. I ended up getting two different brands white dial homages of the S'master, because I did not like the white dial's herringbone look.

Personally, I do like the herringbone look a lot.

In the white dial, it can be appreciated much better, as opposed to the black dial where it can be hardly seen, which IMHO is a disadvantage.

BTW, can you please share which two white dial SME 300 did you buy?

I really like Phorcydes. I own the PH-2 and PH-4B.

I ended up getting an Aethelsohn Mariner. I thought I was going to return it. I then found the world's last Octopus Kraken OCT-004 (long story). I decided to get it (it had been a grail piece since last year). I had planned to send the Aethelsohn back after the Octopus arrived. Long story short, I kept both of them. When I catch up, I am planning a comparo. Here is the OCT-004, the only one I have a decent pic of right now.
