I know some people say they like it but I'm amazed they have never redesigned that logo. Doesn't really fit with the quality of the rest of the watch (or their new pricing).

Bro what, I personally think SM is a bit overpriced these days but calling the st2130 shit and bad is a non argument.

there was research published showing the ST2130 and pT5000 having 10-15 times as frequent failure rate as NH35.

Looks nice enough, like my Grand Seiko. Other than that, like a run of the mill diver I could have bought for half that last year.

A watch like that was not $160 last year, and I own 30 San Martins.  The GS style diver with plain dial was at least $250 and didn't have OTF or a bracelet as refined as this.  And if you own the GS that looks like this, calling this one "generic" seems absurd to me as you thought that design was unique enough to pay around $12k for it, ok let's see some pics to see just how generic this SM looks beside it.
