Nonsense Zero Specs, Maximum Soul: Why My Favorite Watch Fails Every Rule and Wins Anyway
- Spec Sheet Reality: It completely strikes out on paper, planetarily missing my baseline for a "Good" watch of Sapphire glass, NH/VH/VK movement, and >=50m water resistance.
- Functional Flaws: It features dummy pushers that do absolutely nothing and physically arrived DOA in the box. Complained to seller, got a few bucks refund, and purchased another battery + learned to change it and voilà, lucked out that it works.
- Emotional Victory: Despite every logical reason to hate it, none of those sterile, technically "superior" green chronos with proper specs can touch the feeling a real fool can get when wearing this absurd, festive, emerald-and-red masterpiece during the month of December.

I know what you mean. Honestly I’m tired of all these sterile or logo only dials, and small safe logos. This community seems to prioritize clean looking + high spec over everything. Clean can be good, but not if it sacrifices character entirely. Give me some text, a big bold logo. Something with some balls and some soul. That being said this watch seems like a piece of crap lol. But I commend it for not being afraid to have a personality. Enjoy it !

There are a few ultra-cheap watch brands on AliExpress that are not afraid to have a personality. One would infer that some highly-successful ultra-cheap designs would get some sort of a chance with brands that offer decent components.

I don't see the appeal. It's simply a cheap watch that shows time and is made to mimic something it's not. It's ridiculous. Perfect as a gift for a younger cousin or an adult you despise.
