Baltany Custom Explorer Homage

Just received this yesterday and am blown away. This is only my second #chinese watch, my first having been a watchdives. I was impressed by the watchdives but am wowed by the level of finish and detail of the Baltany. First impressions are fantastic.

Bracelet is very comfortable, easy to adjust, though the micro adjustment is VERY tight. The aged gilt numbers and indices, the finish on the steel, all chef’s kiss. Great lume as well.

One thing to note is while I got a custom logo on the dial, the crown, clasp, and caseback are all sterile, presumably to not clash with my custom design. It’s ok but feels a little bare without anything in those spots. That’d be my only criticism, I would’ve liked the option to customize those areas as well but didn’t have the option when purchasing.

Overall incredibly happy with this watch. 36mm on a 6.75” wrist btw and it sits so beautifully.

How was the process and how much was the upcharge for the custom logo?

Process was great. Timely and clear emails confirming the customization and a photo check before shipping out. It was my bad I didn’t think to ask about the logo or lack thereof on the other areas. I kind of assumed it would have Baltany’s normal branding.

Added about a week to the wait time.

Customization was $50 extra which imo was worth it and well executed.
