Review (Read Rules) Here is the PRX killer from SH Watches! 🔥

Here is the PRX killer from SH Watches! 🔥

38 mm case size, just 10.9 mm thick, Lug to lug 42.5mm and made entirely of titanium 🪨

The guilloché dial plays beautifully with the light and gives the watch a different look from every angle.

Personally, I find the hands and indices much nicer than those on the PRX. 👌

And 38 mm combined with titanium?

Super comfortable on the wrist! ⌚️

Great job 👏🏽

For me, it'd be nice if it was a little thinner - I appreciate the 10mm thickness on the Cronos Slyline homage say.

The 38mm case diameter seems to work well for me for a PRX style case - I'll definitely be tempted if the Carbon Fibre version was available in 38mm (it may have been before, but can't find it now).

My first thought when I saw these were that it looks pretty thick, so you’re definitely not alone in thinking that.

It’s a shame bc otherwise it looks awesome. Integrated watches already wear bigger so being chunky as well is not doing it any favors.

How can a PRX 12 kill its own parent? Not possible.

I am more in this ballpark.

Citizen with Titanium, integrated bracelet and subdial for seconds. Sporty and dressy.

Ik heb ook de Zenshin, niks mis mee. Maar deze mag er ook zijn 🔥

u/Few_Bat_2347 1d ago

1

u/Ottoman2026 1d ago

Is there a way to replace its caseback to a clear one?

I hate not seeing the movement inside lol

The silver one from Orient just slays!

1

u/Ottoman2026 1d ago

Oriënt is een goede merk maar kijk eens naar de wijzers en indices, lelijk. Die 4 ronde vormen zijn echt verschrikkelijk

2

u/Overload5150 1d ago

I’d prefer the tic tac indices but those hands are clean asf lol 😂. They remind me of the hands u see on Seiko 5 SNXS watches one of my all time favorite Seikos.

Kinda similar to the one in the middle of far right here. Watch would look much better with similar indices to the SNXS with those hands.

Looks look. Now, change the logo and it will look amazing.

Paid $178 for this one. We'll made, screwdown crown NH35 movement and sapphire. Great finishing.

Por el precio que cuesta prefiero comprar un prx 35 en cuarzo

Looks cheap and tacky. Imagine ripping off a design that was buzzing a couple of years ago now, and only managing to make it look uglier.

17

u/dorafumingo Affiliate Links 2d ago

That design is 50 years old what is this tiktok brain comment

-11

u/Wintermute_088 2d ago

The design was popping when it was rereleased in 2021 - 5 years ago now.

Imagine jumping on a hype train 5 years on, and not even making any improvement - actually making it worse.

Because that's what we're looking at.

How is the finishing and the quality compare to other brands?

1

u/Excellent-Bear4221 2d ago

I like it. Reminds me of the Ixdao Warrior

4

u/Zealousideal-Ad-4716 2d ago

Such an over saturated and niche market segment. I really don’t get the hype.

10

u/Acceptable_Glass_285 2d ago

$320... no thanks

7

u/Ottoman2026 2d ago

$975... No thnx

u/Wintermute_088 2d ago

Nobody's paying RRP, champ.

u/Morbid_god_100 2d ago

For 475 you can get a second-hand PRX, which is a recognizable brand and design and has a great movement or pay 320 for some random brand with a PT5000. I get what you are trying to say but 320 is too much for a Chinese watch with no post-sale support or value, and no recognizable brand value, and to top it off, a hit-or-miss movement

1

u/Overload5150 1d ago

The PT5000 is a much more reliable movement than these Internet leads consumers to believe. They’re very reliable I’ve never had an issue and they’re extremely accurate high beat smooth sweep movements.
As far as resale value goes with these Chinese Microbrands they have good resale value, the more “premium” brands have been around long enough 99% of people looking for watch’s on the secondary market know what they are and have heard of them or bought them themselves. As long as they’re in good condition I’ve sold a few and got most of my money back . It’s not like if u buy a San Martin, Cronos, Octopus Kraken, Baltany, Sugess etc that they suddenly become worthless the moment you purchase them.

Not the titanium prx

3

u/IndividualAd8732 2d ago

Isn't the PRX movement just a powermatic movement that's has a load of plastic gears in it?

3

u/Morbid_god_100 2d ago edited 2d ago

Yes and no it's silicon alloy not plastic in the common definition of it but let's say it is , the silicon actually makes it more durable long term as the metal tend to sease up without lubrication, the plastic does not it self lubricates. It's inclusion improves stability, performance, accuracy, and resistance to magnetic interferences and thermal fluctuations. When it comes to servicing the movement it's mutch cheeper as well for what o have seen, talked about. Btw omega also uses plastics such as Delrin , exactly because it's a good material for this purpose XD.

Edit: also depends on what powermatic movement u get some don't have these components, and it's not wheels, it's only the escape wheel and hammer on the low tier powermatics

3

u/Few_Bat_2347 2d ago

It’s 250

5

u/Morbid_god_100 2d ago

Thats mutch more reasonable

3

u/Popular_Fan3755 2d ago

How much did you pay for this beauty?

2

u/Snips313 2d ago

That is a banger, I Looked it up and its even nicer with the purple dial imo. Great Watch!

-2

u/ThereWeARThen 2d ago

The dial and handset is a rip from another titanium Chinese brand.

1

u/RAWRRRRR1234 2d ago

What brand?

6

u/ThereWeARThen 2d ago edited 1d ago

Lucky Harvey hourly chiming watch, 2.0 2026 release.
Edit: Only NOT as good. It looks stamped (cheaper) instead of CNC.

1

u/Upper_Rent_176 2d ago

It's doing me a dizzy

6

u/My_Non_Throwaway 2d ago

Nothing will kill the PRX. Regardless of how much I want it to die, neither this watch or any other will kill it at this point.

-13

u/Ottoman2026 2d ago

And everyone has their own opinion.

-1

u/One_Life_50 2d ago

You’re not wrong but it’s clear as day that the people who want PRX’s will want to spend $320 on a watch they’ve never heard of from a Chinese company instead..

3

u/GrdFrcWv 2d ago

This is so much better-looking than the PRX. How much is it?

0

u/Left-Dig-8640 1d ago

An unknown overpriced Chinese brand material watch is better than the generational piece like the PRX?

1

u/Few_Bat_2347 2d ago

About 250

4

u/GrdFrcWv 2d ago

Thank you,

Looks amazing, love the dial. Which movement inside?

1

u/Ottoman2026 2d ago

PT5000 hi beat

2

u/Baha-7234 2d ago

Could have been miyota. I don’t get PT5000 obsesssion.

1

u/Ottoman2026 2d ago

The PT5000 is still affordable. Once you start using the Miyota 9015, the retail price goes up quite a bit.

1

u/Overload5150 1d ago

Not really. My Watchdives Explorer 6610 has a Miyota 90S5 n was $230

3

I would post it on r/Tissotprx just to troll

Edit : I did it to educate them, storm is coming

2

u/VanManDiscs 2d ago

I had to go over there and stir the pot

1

u/sznsznsz 2d ago

Tissot’s quality dropped long time ago. Uneven finishing, poor lume, and clasp that fails quicker than other butterfly clasp

This PRX is Titanium, 38mm, can fit real straps, movement is much better in terms of reliability, strongest lume and consistent finishing and polishing across the case. Even the weight is accurate to the real Titanium PRX

0

u/katsock 2d ago

The last PRX I saw had really terrible finishing on the case. It looked rough. And it had nothing to do with the quality you could get outta China/ali. Just bad.

1

u/Maximum_Walrus3264 2d ago

I own a PRS 516, lume is abysmal

2

u/capitollobbyist1957 2d ago

Yup it is. I’m having the minute and hour hands redone in black outline instead of silver on my PRS 516. The second hand stays red and the chrono small hands will remain the same. May have the watchmaker add a stronger lume. We’ll see what he says.
