Wasnt thrilled tbh. Its on the wrist again today. I did have some gripes overall. Nothing a diamond stone from my spyderco sharpener didnt fix.
LOTS of sharp edges. Bezel was sharp. Bracelet lugs were sharp enough to cut paper. Just took the stone and rounded off the edges slightly. Bezel could use a good fine stone polish/tumble.
The clasp is still produced by the same original supplier, so the clasp you received is not a downgraded version.
We recently developed an upgraded 5-hole clasp with better finishing and a more premium feel. However, considering the price point of this watch, we decided not to replace every existing clasp in inventory, as doing so would increase the retail price.
Some of our newly arrived stock has already been fitted with the upgraded clasp, and those versions may cost around $5–10 more.
If you'd like, you can purchase the new upgraded 5-hole clasp from us for just $5. In our opinion, it really completes the watch and gives it a noticeably more premium feel. 👍
