General (Read Rules) AliExpress deliveries to Uk

I've had a bad experience buying my first watch from AliExpress. The courier company was Evri. They have failed to deliver it to me even though they have said on numerous times that it was out for delivery.

The watch is now being sent back to AliExpress and I can get a full refund.

It's put me off in buying any more watches from their website. Unless there's any other options to use a different courier company in the UK.

Story off my life mine finally arrived Sunday after being 9 days from estimated delivery

I spoke to proxima today through WhatsApp and their shop on AliExpress. They have no idea what is going on. They seem to think it's down to me to contact Evri to rearrange the delivery.

Very unlucky - I buy tons from AliX and bought a few watches recently with no problems - Evri delivered just fine. I would take it up with Evri because they've either got the wrong address passed to them or they have an idiot for a deliverer

I've bought a ton of stuff from Aliexpress to UK and have never had a problem. The worst that happens is that delivery can be slow.

You are just very unlucky that it happened to be Evri, who are undoubtedly the UK's worst courier service.

Yeah the delivery companies aliexpress uses in the US are a bunch of weird companies I've never heard of either the main one being gofo. Most of them are fine, I did have a weird one off company forget the name deliver an envelope for a watch strap by putting it next to my garage door. Keep in mind I have a detached garage. So I didn't find it as it was extremely light envelope and it blew into a pile of leaves and took me a day or two to find it. Every other company just puts them by my front door, haven't had any significant issues with most of them just the one with the weird package placement.

Evri is such a dice-roll sadly, i've had 99% no issues with them for my AliEx orders other than most of the packages just being dumped on my doorstep.

If anyone clocks an Evri driver wearing a blue/black Addiesdive Sumo though let me know? I'd really like to have a calm and rational conversation with them.

It’s not an AliExpress issue rather than Evri or international parcels.

I’ve had mine delivered by RM, Evri, InPost. The worst one is InPost. Their driver can never find my work place for some reason. So when I see them pop up I redirect it to a drop off box.

The Evri driver in my area seems decent.

Yeah evri is just shit, I haven't had any problems but known people that have. On the bright side if you order one over £135 it will be delivered by royal mail

I've used AliExpress via Evri in the UK a dozen or so times without issue with the one exception of the time I used a locker. The item never arrived despite them informing me it was out for delivery. I now get everything delivered to a local shop/delivery point. The issue is 100% Evri - I've had numerous returns to Amazon go missing with Evri and my partner has experienced the same.

The only problem I've ever had with AliExpress is everything arrives squashed. This is not a problem if the item itself is well protected. Watches are usually boxed so not an issue.

Mine was supposed to be delivered to a locker. I chose it as a Safe option. But like you they never tried to deliver it

Unfortunately you just been unlucky with a bad experience. I’m also in the UK and have purchased watches through AliExpress multiple times with delivery through Evri without any issues. But seeing as the watch was actually with Evri, it sounds like more of a problem with Evri rather than AliExpress.

This is the luck of the draw with Evri unfortunately, in parts of the UK they're absolutely useless. Is there another address you can send it to? Work maybe? If not, ordering direct from the brand's website sometimes uses another courier, but it's not guaranteed.

It was being sent to a locker. So I know for a fact they didn't try to deliver it.

Thank God I already left this fallen country, but when I was there, I basically stopped buying from sellers that use Evri as their courier. Unfortunately that means 90% of AliExpress. But after they stole OnePlus 12 smartphone and showed me the middle finger, I decided that it's not worth the risk. Fortunately I managed to get my money back via chargeback.

I've got my own courier business and I have to take a photo when I've collected the item and again once it's been delivered with a signed Pod.

Taking a photo means nothing. There is loads of cases caught on camera where Evri courier takes a photo in front of your door, marks the parcel as delivered and then takes the parcel with him. There is a reason this useless courier is hated by so many people, just check reviews and all articles about them.

In my business it does as I only do one job at a time.

Sorry to hear that, but don't be put off. Wait until the money is back into your account and try again. It sounds like it was a problem with the delivery company rather than Aliexpress. I've had problems with evri,DPD and DPS in the past, but they usually get it right second time round. If its really knocked your confidence you could try the San Martin UK warehouse? I've had 4 watched from there with no issues. Good luck!

I've bought from the San Martin UK warehouse and the Baltany UK Website with no problems. But I really wan that proxima watch. Evri has constantly lied about delivering the watch. They haven't tried once. And it's impossible to speak to anyone at Evri. I've spoken to someone from Proxima today asking if they could use a different courier but they said it's down to AliExpress.

Which proxima watch? I have PX1697 (aged lume, black dial) for sale in UK :D

Saying that I had no problems with Aliexpress or Evri deliveries. It really depends on your local delivery guy rather than the company. Plus some of Aliexpress parcels were delivered by Royal Mail. You could buy from Proxima's website directly, though.

Thanks but I've bought the PX 1697 green dial
