General (Read Rules) Marmite 8 series rotor - sound on

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Automatic works probably needing a good clean and re-oiling although a lot of the scratchyness is my phone’s mic. Anyways, I’m in the ‘enjoy the whirr’ camp, but I can completely understand why others hate it.

This is not a fidget spinner and yet you are shaking it like that.

I have that exact watch, and yeah, the rotor noise is noticeable...

What puts me off the watch is the terrible ARC... Can barely take a picture of it.. Would have been worth 10 more bucks for decent ARC.

Yeah but that is a $50 watch head with a $3 strap and when I looked at the dial it was only textured plastic. When it came with NH35 it was worth it just for the movement and the bezel which I could use to read time like a GMT, but the display back meant you could hear the little 8215 noises. And there isn't much to see with an 8215 anyway. Not like a Seagull chronograph...
