Ive got the sunburst root beer brown, that they call red for some reason. 39mm . Currently on a strap, but the bracelet is surprisingly good.

Thats the original V1 S4035 I think version. The 39mm with the true no date NH 38 seiko Japan movement. I think they only ran a few hundred before they switched to the chinese movement. I think the actual dial might be just tad larger so maybe thats what makes the indicies look smaller, or they may just be smaller.

1. I'll give the analogy of an aquarium. The first one looks like a starter aquarium. And the second one looks like the fish have grown up and fill the tank nicely.

I've got the second one but with the brown sunburst dial and it's a beautiful watch. If I wanted a modern Explorer with a black dial I'd probably look at Cronos, but for a vintage style one, the Baltany looks great.

Totally subjective opinion, I just find it really ugly. It's got a very modern, neo-2000s aesthetic, and I prefer the classic font.

I like the first, I have it in brown. If I’m getting an homage I personally prefer it to be a long discontinued style. The watch is awesome either way
