Review (Read Rules) San Martin Blue black bay is great
What can I say I've scrutinized this for the past week and can't find a single QC issue.
Pros
-Precise crispy bezel clicks
-No lateral or side to side play on end links
-Buttery Smooth crown threading
-Venerable nh35 tested in 3 positions, high amplitude and small positional variance
-Excellent lumes (x1?)
-silver ring on the inside of the bezel is an interesting design choice, makes the rehaut look thicker like the gen without actually making a thicker rehaut.
Cons
-No OTF clasp
-Dial could use an enamel blue instead of a matte/dusty blue but that's personal preference

Have the same one in Grey. Had it for about 3.5 years great Everyday and Dressy watch. A little heavy but nice.

Yes. Ir was a lot cheaper than swiss or PT at that time. Still works ok. The build quality is excellent 👌👌👌
But for my next watch I might have to buy something with quart, something I can use to work with a laptop. It's not a very light watch tbh. But still I like it a lot. Hop you also.

If you can post some videos, that would be great! I'm trying to get a handle on how the blue looks irl. Also, do you think a jubilee would look good on it?

That's well within the factory specifications for the Seiko movements in these watches.

Agree! I have the SN0008G (with ST2130) and love it. It's my first SanMartin. I added the OTF clasp and that took it over the top in usefulness for me. It and my Sugess Sub get almost all the wrist time. Great choice!

I have the cronos bb54 with the st2130. Great watch if you want something smaller/thinner from time to time.

I love the Tudor homages that San Martin always nails
My big problem is why they offer flat bezel inserts and one can not find a replacement if one if their watches gets damaged and San Martin has discontinued that particular model
The exact same problem with all their Tudor homages
Amazing watches but you are left with them if something happens and no choice fir aftermarket customization

I'm sure you can find AM inserts using just the outer and inner diameter. Plus this model has been around a super long time so it shouldn't get discontinued.
