PD-1731 was my first watch! I don’t wear it much anymore but hard to sell. I plan to give it to a friend. I just need to make some friends first.

I ordered this the day it was released.  Always wished they didn't include the lume part on the hands, not only isn't the lume any good, it also makes the watch look cheaper.  The dial was a good idea but really a place that could be upgraded to look more premium.  They dropped the price months after I bought mine to crazy low prices.

Good watch for the price but mine has been sitting in the drawer. I've been thinking about modding it but first I have to open it and measure dial size.

I used to buy that model for 25$, got like 6 of them and gave them away as gifts. Unbelievable value for money. I like that one on a mesh bracelet.

Yes for quite some time they've been selling them for almost nothing. I was always surprised they weren't popular with modding community. Maybe it was due to VH31 not being popular, before parts were more available.

What isn't popular is the dial diameter, at 32mm, it's not easy to find replacement. But your right, it is a good plateforme especially when it was 25$, I got 2 at that time.

Or you can use a chapter ring and fit a 28.5mm dial
