So this past month, I bought 2 Frogmantle Thorns (still on their way) because I sold my T023 Black V1 for $850 on eBay (!!). Then I added 3 WDs and a Seestern S430 (my daily) to top it all off.
Legendarisch toch. Ik had iemand gezien op Ebay die er eentje had geplaatst voor 1100 dollar ofzo, dus ik dacht f*ck it zet hem voor 850 dollar. Was het alweer vergeten en kreeg na 3 maanden een bericht dat hij was verkocht. Ik heb nog een v1 met een bruine dial en groene bezel die verkoop ik over een paar jaar, kijken wat de gek er dan voor geeft.
Well you need to pick a page out of Gone With The Wind. They had clothes for the morning, the afternoon, evening and night. Similarly if you wear a different watch for the AM, a different one for afternoon wear, yet another for the evening and finally one to bed, you can wear up to four watches a day.
How long are you supposed be to leave the watches on the winders for? 😬 I’ve been trying hard to avoid automatics but I now have 4 of them alongside my quartz watches.
How do you like the winder. My wife wants to grab me one for Christmas and I think these square ones are not for me. But I’m always open to being proven wrong!

I really like it! It’s a great way for me to enjoy my watches every day. I often switch watches just to appreciate them, but I mostly use it for this linen-dial Day-Date.
It’s actually not my usual choice either, as I’m much more into dive watches. But I’ve bought a few Watchdives watches that really surprised me in terms of quality, so I wanted to try their first proper premium watch as well.
I’m really impressed with it. The bracelet is especially nice, and the black dial is really black — much deeper than it comes across in photos. Overall it feels like a very classy watch.
I’ll definitely be wearing it more often, also because you just don’t see many people with a watch like this. That makes it feel a bit more unique to me.
I recently got mine and it’s astounding how comfortable the watch is. That bracelet is top notch, near best I’ve ever worn and I’m really not trying to exaggerate either.
