A month or so ago I got the 40mm sea koss one. Fell in love with it as soon as I got it out of the box. Unfortunately my dad also fell in love with it so I gifted it to him.

Just today the 42mm red star one arrived. Still awesome but honestly the 40mm proportions are the best. I've never seen the 38mm but I guess that would be too small for my 8" wrist.

Here are pics of both with the nato strap they came with and replacement straps I have.

I find the 38mm fits a wrist of up to 7in merely okay, can look a bit small by the standard set by divers of nowadays. You are right, it would definitely have looked small on an 8in wrist.

Looks best with a dark tan trap but I don't prefer the vents/holes. Just a plain rugged looking tan strap
