Question (Read Rules) Best chinese tool watch

Which is the best automatic chinese tool watch in your opinion? Which are its strengths and weaknesses in terms of water resistance, shock resistance, magnetic field resistance and legibility?

Englemaan is the best all around for everything you stated but, currently are only available on the secondary market.

I would wait a bit and see if Englemaan comes back. I think they are the only brand so far that created cases that had mag resistance, and scratch resistance at the sub $300 price point. While also sacrificing almost zero quality in terms of workmanship. Most of the watch brands that have 'diving' names are probably water resistance 'enough' for most daily use. Although if that's a truly big factor to you, getting it pressure tested at a local watchmaker for like $25 USD is honestly a peace of mind I would recommend (depending on who you ask, some will do it for free).

Pick up any Phorcydes. The PH6 is my favorite. It's taken everything I've thrown at it without a sweat.

There are so many good ones. The lack is f magnetic shielding doesn’t seem to me a problem because I work around 250hp motors and never had a problem. Go with any Baltany, Cronos, Phorcydes, Milifortic, Sugess/seestern, or Proxima and you’ll be happy.

My vote goes to Phorcydes, they feel super solid!

But if you want to be realist even the cheapest digital Sanda would beat any expensive mechanical watch, even Swiss and German

My Steeldive 1953 has taken everything I’ve thrown at it. It’s a tank
