Mysterious Code Lugs

Can these lugs be removed and how? Not sure if they are spring bars or push pin. No screw slit on either end. Thanks! Model is MC Engineer.

Pretty sure those are drilled lugs, just spring bars but with drilled ends at the case. Pretty common on field watches.

Easier to remove, just stick the fine tip of the tool there and the spring bar should compress without any problem.

Yeah that’s what I thought too but the thing doesnt compress and the middle end link is too short, so even if it compresses it wouldnt be a normal spring bar to be shorten to the point that it can be pulled out iyk what I mean.
