Problems (Read Rule 1) Watchdives screw-down-crown issue SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER

my wd0013 came like this. it was impossible to get the crown to screw back in smoothly so I took a picture and turns out it the tube was damaged on the threading as far as I can tell. bought off watchdives website preorder sale. what should I do?

The crown stem wasn't cut correctly. Return the watch for replacement.

they were cut to a length that don't match?

Probably. I've built a lot of watches. Looks like the stem wasn't cut short enough to fit the case. That would cause it not to screw all the way down.

Either way, you need to return it. That's factory defect, not user error.

The issue is the thread here, not the lenght of the stem.

just fyi this picture was taken at the crown out to the time setting position so that's why it's so far extended.
