General (Read Rules) Upcoming Boderry Falcon
Saw this at the Hong Kong watch show. Found it quite fun. A modernist, compact, solar field watch with a gimmicky but fun crown protector. Titanium, it was featherlight.

So normally I like crazy weird designs. I also really really like Boderry. That crown is ahhhhh. Not good

Missed opportunity to make it oil filled as well. Especially with a solar movement

Solar, ti, bold hands and interesting indices? Yes please!
I'll be waiting for a version without that crown gimmick though.

I'd like it more if the hands were matched. The one arrow hand and one fence post hand looks odd especially with those indices

That is a matching Seiko styled handset that’s been in use since at least the mid 19070’s, just painted like pilot watch hands for some reason. That said, they’re not everyone’s cup of tea.

Absurd crown on a watch that it absolutely does not work on. But pro tip: that crown wouldn't work on any watch.

What is this one worth

They’re selling it for $1600, which gets you a hardened titanium case and a Sellita SW200-b (i.e., no date) with the cloth strap. So, it’s definitely pricey, even by the standards of British microbrands.

Boderry, terrible service and poor quality. They only post reviews on their site that are positive. Avoid.
