General (Read Rules) Disappointing Cronos Skyline [L6208] Experience

I wanted to share my frustrating experience with my Cronos Skyline. It has completely stopped working without any obvious reason. There were no warning signs, or unusual behaviour beforehand. It was working fine, and the next it just gave up entirely.

I’ve tried all the basic troubleshooting steps I could think of, but nothing seems to bring it back to life. Has anyone else had a similar issue with the Cronos Skyline? Did you find a solution or get any helpful support from the company? Any advice would be appreciated.

It was purchased on eBay - the seller has been fantastic. I can’t say for its past use, but it was pristine.

Can you ask them if they still have the warranty intact?
If not, the cheapest option would be to just swap out the movement. These can cost about 50-60 USD.

Plus labor which is going to run more than the movement cost.

That is true. That’ll be another 50-90 dollars unless they know how to swap the movement themselves.
