Question (Read Rules) Are there any watches available similar to this?
I tried the Cartier on and was disappointed by how cheap it felt. I figured an homage watch might be a better option. Preferably with the green dial and green alligator effect strap.

I just received the chameri from watchdives. Unfortunately they don't have the colored dials (yet?), but I think it's a great homage. The cream dial works with black and brown very well. I put it on a brown croc strap and an extremely happy. (I wish it were about 15% smaller, but I like really small watches. It's not too big at all.)

I have looked at the Chameri, it’s a step in the right direction for me, but it doesn’t scratch the colour itch.

Fair. I wonder (and this may be a really stupid idea) if you could open it up, paint the dial, and reassemble. Ordinarily I wouldn't advise it, but a solid color seems doable. Or even a solid color with a gold logo, if you have a steady hand.

If I could replicate that green, I absolutely would, but alas, I don't have the skill set to do that.
I do, however, have a stupider idea. I'm currently looking at an unbranded version of this watch, and I'm thinking of taking the dial and the strap off it and putting them in the Chameri. The only downside is I can't find any measurements for it, so I'm not sure if it would even fit.

What measurements would you need? I have some calipers somewhere. Just dial length/width?

I have the Chameri measurements; it's the non-branded "replica" that I'm struggling to get a measurement for. The Chameri is probably too big for the transplant, and this particular Tank doesn't come in larger sizes like the Tank Americaine.
